i also provide restringing service, engraving and watch battery replacement.

i am open tuesday-​friday, from 9:00am-4:00pm, and by appointment on saturday and monday to fit your schedule.

History

Established in 1993.

i have been doing jewelry repair and custom work since 1979, and i started my own business in 1993, on pratt st., in hartford, doing primarily wholesale work to the jewelry trade. i was doing repairs for many jewelers within a 35 mile radius of hartford. i moved my business to avon in 2007, in order to be closer to home as well as desiring to offer my services to a wider array of people.

i have been a goldsmith since 1979.

i started out doing chain repairs. i progressed to ring sizing, prong replacement and stone setting over the next few years… as i got more proficient in how things were made, and how to make them whole again, i got interested in creating. i worked predominantly for 1 jeweler for the bulk of 15 years, with a short stint at another jewelry store. in 1993, when the boss retired and closed his business, i decided it was time to try it on my own. i started my business on pratt. street, in downtown hartford. i was doing jewelry repair for the trade, with 12 stores sending me their customers repairs. after commuting over avon mountain for 28 years, it was time to move my shop closer to home and be more available to the general public.

i specialize in repairs; if it’s broken, i can repair it. whether you have a fabulously expensive piece, or a fabulously sentimental piece, i will do my very best to make it wearable again, for your enjoyment.
