Educational Playcare

Our children were there from 6 months until they entered preschool. Overall the classrooms are clean. The only exception to this is the preschool bathroom. I would rather use an old gas station bathroom in the middle of nowhere than the bathroom in the preschool classrooms. We had some very good experiences with the teachers and some not so good experiences with them. Some teachers are definitely better than others in terms of their passion, concern and care for the children. After many pretty good years, in the end we ending up withdrawing our kids after several negative experiences that were never resolved.

EPC was an experience that I will never fOrget. The kids and staff were great.

We love EPC in Avon! The teachers are great and the kids have a great time all while learning. The communication home to the parents is outstanding! I would recommend EPC to anyone looking for more than just a daycare.

When my daughter went to daycare for the first time I was so nervous. I had been home with her for 14 months and she was very clingy. I looked at several daycares in the area and was so disappointed until I visited EPC of Avon. The facility is SPOTLESS! As expected my daughter has trouble adjusting but just as Loring (who is fabulous) assured me she adjusted and loves it! She adores all of her teachers and their loving and nurturing way of teaching. I say teaching because my daughter has learned more in the past 9 months than I could ever imagine. She is 19 months old and because of the teachers at EPC she know her ABCs, numbers, sign language, and how to say three word phrases (Loring and Ashley you guys rock!). They also do yoga and different amazing sensory activities as well as integrate music and literature throughout the day. They provide all of her healthy balanced meals and teach the children routines. You also get regular photo and video updates on their day and phone calls is ever necessary. The teachers even met with me to have a conference about her progress. Socially my child has grown in leaps and bounds and it’s all thanks to the amazing community of teachers at Educational Play Care in Avon! Just today at pick up my child didn’t want to leave because she loves being there so much! As an educator myself, it’s clear EPC in Avon knows how to take care and educate children!
