Camp Bow Wow Avondale

I have used Camp Bow Wow in Avondale for more than 4 years and would highly recommend them. They take excellent care of my dog (German Shepard) and provide a comprehensive report on all aspects of the dog’s boarding. I love the live cams which give us piece of mind that our dog is being well taken care of and is having fun. My dog has never come back from Camp Bow Wow with any injuries or negative changes in his behavior.

Pup came home with bloody scratches on his belly and absolutely no explanation. Do not take your dog here, since they have no regard for well being. Also no attempt to try to rectify the situation. Terrible service.

My dogs is so excited when we get there… Cute events, I love the fact my dogs not kenneled all day, always someone in the run with them and she comes home exhausted. I love the webcams that I can check in on her anytime and it’s inexpensive.

We just got Louie back from Camp Bow Wow after boarding him for a week and he had a great time! Louie even went to his first Doggy Prom. Look at how handsome he is posing with his prom date! They gave him a bath and he came home happy and exhausted from all the playing. We also like the live cams where we can check in on him during our trip. Only wish they’d upgrade the quality of the cams because they’re grainy and choppy. We love love Camp Bow Wow and all the wonderful camp counselors. Me and Louie says thanks for the good time! Woof!

Our experience at camp Bow Wow has been excellent. As with most pet owners our dogs are part of our family and the employees there have been both professional and affectionate to our dogs. The facilities are large enough and sheltered on hot days. The app that allows us to see our dogs is a great source for peace of mind when we are away.

I love it that my dog can’t wait to get into the back room to play with her friends. Gives me peace of mind when I drop her off to know she wants to go and I can enjoy my vacation and not worry that she is being taken care of.
This is the ONLY place that I trust to leave my dog.

Still love this place. It’s seems to get better and better. Halloween party was a success and both my pups got treat bags. They have a point system that allowed me to get their nails cut for free. With the reasonable prices, I’m able to bring the pups once a week for daycare. The ladies love my pups and know them by name. You gotta check this place out for yourself. You won’t regret it.

You want a facility for your dog that is clean, safe, friendly-​a place you can trust. We have been using Camp Bow Wow for about 8 months now and i can tell you you won’t have any worries in leaving your dog there. This is the 1^st kennel I have been to where they let you take a tour of the whole place. The workers there really seem to like what they are doing. Our dog, while not liking to be dropped off (what dog does), seems to be in fine spirits when we pick him up. It is a little more expensive than a couple of the other local places in the Buckeye area, but it is worth it.

I wouldn’t trust any other place with my baby!!! Opie LOVES going to camp. I send him for a half day which is $ 15.00 and he gets to run around and play!!! The people are always so great and you can tell they love working with the pups! Opie knows once I say «Camp» that he will be in for a fun day!!! I get to watch him from the Camp Bow Wow app on my phone which makes me feel more at ease. Overall great place with friendly staff! I also use their Home Buddies program! Nothing but positive things to say!

My Boxer «cousins» Rocky and Bandit Nutter (RIP) come here. Heather (the owner) is super sweet and has experience working in dog boarding facilities. I have experience working in these facilites as well, so I know for a fact that this place is on point! You can monitor your pets online through live cameras and the employees actually care about these «campers». This is the ONLY dog boarding facility that I would ever recommend people to leave their dogs at.

My puppy and I couldn’t survive without camp bow wow Avondale! Their hours are perfect, the rates are incredibly reasonable and best of all Heather and all of the camp counselors are fantastic! They go the extra mile to provide amazing customer service to you and your pup! Harley and I love this place!

When we dropped our 4 month old puppy to the Camp BoW WoW for socialization we let them know he is scared and need special attention and care.
We told them specifically that he need to be socialized to boost his self-​esteem and be able to play with other dogs without fear. Our request was ignored and our dog got bitten in Camp Bow WoW by a grown lab. Its specifically shocking because they told us they DO NOT put big and small dogs together, they said they are separating them for safety reason. This was first lie. When my dog got injured Camp Bow Wow call us and told us he got scratch on his the face (!!) from another dog. When we picked him up and clearly saw bite on his face, we let them know how upset we are about the situation. Today — 3,5 years later — we are not able to let our dog play with other dogs because of his fear … He is still scared when dog approach him. I dont want to have nothing to do with Camp Bow WoW anymore. Their service is horrible, they hire untrained people to take care of dogs. I paid them to take CARE of my dog, but they did not. Before I gave them my puppy to take care of I asked them if it is safe envoirenemnt, and If nothing will happened to my puppy. Owner assured me that nothing will happend, she said they separate small dogs from big dogs and they supervised them all the time. My puppy got bitten by grown brown lab. When I talked about this issue to Manager and expressed my deepest dissapointement she asked me: «What do you want us to do?» Well what I want them to do is DOING THEIR JOB… Provide excellent care and safe enviroment for dogs they boarding, having trained staff who knows how dangerous is to have grown dogs with small puppies boarded togeather in small space, to know how much psychological damage it cost to a puppy who get bitten, this type of trauma will never be forgotten. It cost many, many month of training to build the confidence and remove some of trauma. After spending tausends of dollars for training, incl hiring private trainer for 3 month, group trainings, individual training sessions, trainings with GSD Club and PFOC we could not repair damages which were cost by Camp BoW WoW lack of care to our complete satisfaction.
Having boarding facility is no different from having kindergarten, in both cases people are paying for services and they expect their dogs are being well-​cared for.
Their outdoor play ground is very small, and indoor area is dark — they are boarding dogs in black cages — indoor playing areas are small as well. Very often they have 60 –70 dogs there — its overcrowded and very loud. Not a pleasant place.

We moved here earlier this year. We knew we were going to be out of town for a week and were concerned where we were going to put our dog. After searching I found Camp Bow Wow. They were great. They brought Scout in for a trial and she did great. I loved all the time out of the kennels the dogs had. Plus they spoil her with peanut butter kongs. She’s been back again and I will continue to use them.

I am absolutely in love with this place! I was taking my dogs to a different place until recent issues with the establishment. I discovered camp bow wow from Unilocal and decided to check it out. I’m so very glad I did.
They are very professional, very friendly, and seem very happy to see me and my dogs. I feel very safe leaving my dogs in their care. I love that they offer Web cams so I can peep in on my dogs.
They also have a point check in system, you earn rewards as your points add up.
If you are looking for day care, or boarding, come check out camp bow wow, you’ll be just as happy with them as I am!

I have to say that when my dog jake, hears me say camp bow wow he gets all excited. Everything time I am on my way to take Jake to camp bow wow, jake my dog is barking and carrying on as if I am not driving fast enough to get him to camp bow wow. I refer all my friends to bring their pets to camp bow wow.

We picked our two dogs up there tonight after boarding them for 11 nights. I love this place & feel very safe taking my dogs there. We had to do a temperament test beforehand to see how they are with other dogs. Once they pass, they are able to be boarded or go to doggy day care.
I have a senior lab who is on special medicine. They were able to handle all the special stuff for her.
We were able to watch our dogs through an app ($ 4.99/year). We saw them playing, walking around, just being awesome dogs. It was great to have that reassurance. We also called to check in. They put us through to the person in the room with the dogs. She was able to tell us how they were eating, what they were doing, even who they were making friends with. They even got a bath at the end of their stay.
Finally, they let all breeds in, which is great! I love seeing dogs being able to play together & not discriminated against.

I love this place! I learned about Camp Bow Wow when i lived in Albuquerque and fell in love with this place. Once i moved to Arizona I was so excited to see that there was a Camp Bow wow in Avondale. I have had nothing but an exceptional experience here. The staff is nothing short of amazing and I love the fact that i can check up on my dog via web cam.
The great thing about taking my dog here is that … before you can leave your dog here they do a behavioral test to be sure that your dog gets along with other dogs. I also love the fact that my dog is up and running around/​playing most of the day when i board her. My dog is shy … but she is nothing but excited when I pull up to Camp. Normally she would hunker down and run the opposite way. Not the case, her tail is wagging and she is headed for the front door!
I wouldnt take my dog anywhere else.
