Manager

Van is the manager of N-​T Nails & Spa. Previous to moving to Avondale a few years ago, Van and her husband were nail salon owners in Tucson, AZ for about 10 years. Together, with the entire nail technician team at N-​T Nails, they hope to bring detailed and quality service to customers that will eventually build a happy, satisfied, and returning clientele.

Horrible place!!! Don’t go trust me. They were so rude .i went in for a pedi and gel set & they over charged me they included their own tip on the price which I didn’t know. I went two days later cuz the gel was already peeling off and she told me she was going to charge me again to redo one nail. I argued with her for like 5 mins and she was upset talking shit in her own language and they kept looking at me bad. There was two other girls in there complaining I will NEVER EVER go back. Don’t waste your time please

This place was recommended to me from a few other people so I decided to try them out to redo my nails I had done at another place the day before. After being very upset from how awful my nails looked from the other place I came here hoping to leave much happier and I am pleased to say I was! The woman who did my nails was nice, made sure she truly understood what it was I wanted, and she paid attention to the fine details. I left with my nails looking so much better and actually got what i wanted! I am very happy with this place and I will be returning.

Not happy with the personnel at this salon. Van is not very patient or pleasant. She barely welcomes guests that come in. She does good work but does not like to be told how you want your nails done. I expect to get some appreciation for my business. Will not go back!

Just moved from MD to AZ. Finding a good nail tech was challenging. Went to one place in Goodyear. Just didn’t like the shaping of nails and the bed of the nail, or the art work. Gave NTnails a shot, after hours of reading reviews and looking at sample pictures on Unilocal.SO GLAD I DID! Van did a wonderful job. Nail shape was on point! Art work was beautiful. She was also pretty fast!!! She even asked at different intervals if I was ok with her work, as she went along. Definitely worth the drive over! Found my new nail technician! NO QUESTION! Try them out!

Today was my second visit. I had a full set put in last time and a fill today .I have had 2 different techs do my nails and never been so happy. It’s a little off putting that no one speaks English really in the shop but it’s not a big deal to me. I would recommend friends for sure ! The gel polish is absolutely worth the $ 5 extra ! I have issues with nails staying on in the past with other places but no issues with this place.

This was my first time going and I had Van as my nail tech. She was AMAZING! I have acrylics and have always struggled with nail salons to get them to look natural. She did an amazing job getting them to look that way. I am looking forward to my future appointments with her!

Great place! First timer went in a little late but they didn’t seem to mind which is awsome. The gentleman did a perfect job on my cuticles. My hands were jacked and he made them look so pretty. Van did an amazing job on my nails. The price matches the quality and it shows. I love that she can do anything you desire for design and can go off of a picture. I’d recommend this place to anyone :) I will definitely be back for sure!

First timer for a gel mani. Sloppy work, didnt seem to want to do the mani. Had to go back two days later for another coat, as I could see my natural nail through the pink, super rude and annoyed I came back. Didny say one word to me when she fixed my nails. Maybe because I didnt have the ugly giant tips on w the hood ornaments.

I recently just moved to Arizona from California and needed to find a new nail salon to start going to. One of my girlfriends recommended N-​T Nails and I haven’t gone to any other nail salon since. They talk to you while you are getting your nails done and they are super sweet! I also can’t complain about the prices, if you’re looking for a nail salon you won’t be disappointed with them!

I warn everyone and anyone to never go here! First off, they have no clue what they are doing! Long story short with that, I had to tell them how to mix certain powders together, and sit their and do their job for them because no had no clue what to do! Second, they are rude and disrespectful. The owner to be exact! Save your money ladies and go to an American nail salon, maybe they will know how to do their job plus you will be able to understand what their saying. No stars!

Horrible! I’m mad that I have to give them 1*. They deserve 0. The wretched lady scrubbed so hard, she removed multiple layers of skin, even after I told her to stop rubbing because it hurt. She wiped off the blood then had me soak my foot. Then poured alcohol on it. When I confronted the manager, she put the blame on me. After saying it wasn’t bleeding, then proceeded to tell me how it was my fault. First saying that I had a cut. Then it was a blister. Then speaking in whatever language she spoke as to why she thought it was my fault. All I wanted was acknowledgment that the woman hurt me and she would admit to nothing. Then said she would fire the lady. Ridiculous! Her name was Tina and was the manager. You’d better believe I’ll call every day until I speak with the owner. I’d been once before and had a great experience so this was definitely a huge disappointment.

Don’t waste your money. First, they are the most expensive nail salon in Avondale but they don’t back it up with higher quality. They offer gel manicures but complained the entire time that they don’t like doing them. It took two hours for a gel manicure and they were done so poorly, I had FOUR nails break in less than a week! I had gotten the gel done two weeks prior to my wedding so they would be at the perfect length by the big day but had to go get an entire set of fake nails put on b/​c Nt did such a poor job.

Went here with the family. Fill with gel was kinda pricey for what I am use to in San Jose, CA. They had a great purple color that I used for french tips. I didn’t think they did that great of a job cause my nail color did not last as long and usually it lasts as long as when I need to go back for my next fill. They missed part of my nails when applying the gel coat.
I had a relaxing pedi that was worth it! I would go back for the pedi!
