We are located in the heart of beautiful dowtown Ayden. Stop by and enjoy a cup of locally roasted coffee and our tasty goodies, or bring some home for the family to enjoy.

Our bakery case is always full of cookies and Gwendy is always trying something new, so you never know what tasty treat you are going to discover.

Some of our daily specials include:

Tuesday: Cheesecake, it vaires with season or inspriation of the chef. All cheesecakes made from scratch and with the

freshest ingredients.

Wednesday: Cream Puffs & Eclairs, Cream Puffs are a delicate pâté a choux pastry filled with lightly sweetened

whipped cream and dusted with confectioner’s sugar. Chocolate eclairs are filled with Gwendy’s special Bacarian cream

filling and frosted with chocolate ganache.

Thursday: Pretzels, Soft pretzels warmed individually, brushed with butter, and sprindled with salt or cinnamon sugar.

Mustard available upon request.

Friday: Story time — themed cookies and treats, Theme cookies or cupcakes to complement our weekly story hour.

Something fun and different every week.

Satruday: Sticky Buns, Sticky buns hot out of the oven. Delicious sweet rools with a cinnamon brown sugar filling with a

delicious baked on caramel coating. You can have them anyway you want… simply cinamon, pecan or pecan and raisins.

History

Established in 2015.

The thought of having a bakery never really occurred to me; baking was just something I love to do. But life has a funny way of opening doors and guiding us down a path we never considered. And here we are opening a bakery, Gwendy’s Goodies. Who knew doing what you love as a job could be so much fun!

I have been overwhelmed by the support and success we have seen since opening Gwendy’s Goodies. I love that this is a family business; the doors would never have opened without the talent and skills of my husband and kids — each of them have had an important part in helping me start this business.

I love to bake tasty treats from scratch with fresh ingredients. As a wife and mother of seven children, baking has been an important part of who we are as family. We have spent countless hours in the kitchen together teaching the kids to bake, making treats for friends and family, and supporting school and recreational activities.
