I was very fortunate to have found Alberts Tree Service on Unilocal.Within two days of my phone call, we made an appointment to look at my tree. He quoted me such a reasonable price, I had to ask him to repeat his quote. I live in the San Gabriel Valley and would highly recommend him. I will use him again in the summer to cut another tree down. Not sure why Unilocal is listing me as living in New York when I live in San Gabriel Valley. The tree was overgrown and full of heavy branches– it was trimmed just in time – the following day we had strong winds. My gardener and another company gave me quote of over $ 550. We scheduled an appointment to prune the tree and arrived on time. They were efficient, friendly and reasonable.

Called, requested a quote, received a quote, gave them the okay to proceed. Promised to remove stump on a certain day, never showed up. Called again, promised to remove stump, again never showed up. Called a third time and never returned my call.

Was searching through Unilocal and called several places. Albert was able to come by within 30 minutes and gave me a great price — other places gave me a quote of one-​third to double the price. Albert was very knowledgeable and knew what he was doing. He had his team of guys at my home the following week and they knocked down a huge ficas tree, pine tree, palm tree, and all the rest of the smaller trees around my property. Albert also had his team cut the wood for firewood and stacked them nicely. They were able to finish all in one day and did a quick and amazing job cleaning up as well.
I called Albert a couple weeks later to ask him to come back to remove a huge root that was left and he told me he was going to come by soon to take care of that.
Overall, great experience with Albert’s Tree Service. I highly recommend.

Work was completed apparently there was a family emergency. I would highly recommend this business just encourage communication in a more timely manner

Even though I ended up hiring another tree service, I would definitely recommend giving Albert’s a call for an estimate. I just got lucky and got fair estimates from two companies with really friendly, knowledgeable representatives, but could only hire one.
I’ve got 12 trees on my property and he explained what each tree needed (they’d be neglected for quite a while), asked if I’d want any cut into firewood for our fire pit, and just made me feel quite at ease that he knew his stuff.

I am grateful for Unilocal in helping me find reliable services. This tree trimming service more than exceeded my expectations in every way.
I have an old pine tree that was badly in need of care and I was very concerned about and impending storms and the damage that could result from further neglect. After reading satisfactory reviews on Unilocal I called Alberts Tree Trimming and within an hour Albert was at my door with to give me an estimate that included trimming my elm tree.
The estimate was absolutely fair and best of all he said they would start the job the next morning! It was an astounding amount of work and took all day just as proposed. I had no idea the pine tree could be so beautiful.
The next morning they arrived to complete the job by trimming my elm tree.
They work fast and clean up was marvelous.
If I could give these folks more than 5 stars I would. If you want a quality job for a fair price this is the place to call ‼

So this Father & Son Team has been our tree trimmers for over 8 years and we have used them for multiple jobs and recommended them to family & friends! They have fair prices, leave your property looking better than they left it and most importantly know how to make your trees look beautiful while taking the weight off and giving them a much needed «trim». You won’t be disappointed. They are qualified and knowledgable and fair! 5 stars all day long!

This is my first time using Albert’s Tree Service and I was not disappointed. He was very professional — he took 3 trees down for us extremely fast, cleaned up, and left the place as clean as when he arrived. While working, we discovered some large roots and a stump leftover by the last guy who removed some trees for us — Albert cleaned up his mess as well at no additional charge. His prices were very reasonable and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the job he did. My family and I will definitely be using his services again in the future.

I didn’t grow up here. I rely on Unilocal for everything. This time it paid off again. Some «shady tree» guy we had left this stump. Alberts bailed me out.
Since they were here I had them clean this messy dead tropical root plant that was a huge huge mess that «I was trying to get to». A little money went a long way! These guys brought a crew, muscle and experience. They arrived once our schedules clicked.
In less than one hour the work was done clean and a distant memory. It would have easily taken a weekend and a couple trips to the dump.
It’s really cool to see a family business thrive. This Father and Son made me wish my dad lived closer.

We had to remove two Silver Sheens that were about 25′. One was dying and the other was on it’s way. Albert’s crew did it first thing this morning in about 45 minutes. They were on time and very careful. I read the other reviews and they did not disappoint. Next time, I hope they just get to trim a tree!

I found Alberts Tree Service on Unilocal as I was searching desperately for a good company to come out and remove a 30 foot Chinese Elm tree that was dropping sap on my car. I got the quote the same day I had called him, and he was ready to come and do the job just a few days later!
A crew of 6 showed up to conduct the work. All 6 of them were very nice, professional, and helpful. They did accidentally pull a beam under the eave of my house while dropping a tree branch over a telephone line that went through the tree and connected to the beam. After the tree was removed they quickly repaired the beam.
On top of all this their price was better than 3 other quotes I had got. I’ll be calling them for any future tree work!

Albert 2x! Father and son were professional, courteous and very knowledgable. That freak July storm last week knocked down a 50 year old tree in our front yard. We called and got same day service. The price was very fair and the crew was efficient and the Alberts were a pleasure to interact with.

I recently bought my home in Fullerton. Albert, his Dad and Co. were WONDERFUL.
When buying your home, you don’t realize the amount of foliage until you move in. but within days the foliage/​trees/​cactus was overwhelming and obsessive. I couldn’t even let my dog roam around due to the shrubs and cactus engulfing half the backyard. I HAD to get it rid of completely. Got a few quotes and Albert offered to do more work for the most affordable price. You know you got a great deal and made the right decision when you’re spending $$$ for something you didn’t plan on spending, but walked away feeling like it was worth it and that you couldn’t do better.
My yard looks soooo much better. Albert was knowledgeable and even suggested cutting a tree he knew would cause problems. I passed trying to save that extra dollar, just to find out the next day my sewer line was completely clogged due to that one tree I left behind. In order to get my plumber fixing in ASAP, Albert’s company made their way the same day, IN THE RAIN, to make it happen… they were working on a project hours away as well. I couldn’t have appreciate more what they did for me and can only help them by hoping people will at least give them a call.

So this would be my second review but for some reason my first review never posted. This is a father and son business and I’ve had work done in May of 2014 and today. The first time taking down a large ash tree and this time around trimming, cleaning of the current ash tree in my back yard.
Each time I’ve dealt with them they are accommodating and professional. The have given me the best prices. Both father and son come out to the job and arrive as scheduled. Do the job in a timely manner making sure to not break anything and always clean up after themselves.
Since it was my second time working with them I even got my quote over the phone since they remembered the tree and how my home was laid out. Both times well very smoothly. Would work with them again.

Thanks to Albert and his team we have our back yard back! Was on time friendly and went above and beyond.
