Express Tire and Auto Service

I was driving through town and needed my tires looked at. Express Tires was the first business to come across my screen so I figured I would call to see how quickly I could get my car looked at. I was able to pull my car in and be back on the road 10 minutes later. Very impressed with the great customer service and efficiency I experienced.

I had a rim that was beyond repair. Louie got me a great deal on a rim and two tires. Great place to go too and would recommend it to anyone.

I’ve been having issues with my brakes for quite a while. Had them repaired several times, but for some reason… they’d always go out.
I took my car into Express Tire and Auto Service, to be greeted by the nicest/​generous man! Louie G. is such a gentleman and a great person! He not only explained the process of fixing brakes, but he also was sensitive to my budget!
I HIGHLY recommend this place for 2 reasons. First, they have great service! They will fix whatever issues your car may have. There is a genuine care for the vehicle you have! Second, Louie G. is an honest man. He says it how it is and also works to give you the best price!
I will definitely be taking my car back to Louie if I need anything done to my car! Thanks LOUIE!

This is my 2^nd time here at the shop and I found them here on Unilocal.I love how it’s so close to my house. The owner is very nice and friendly. I come here to get my oil changed and I’m very happy with the services. I always have a great experience coming here. Definitely recommend this place!

Rip off don’t come here!!! Paid $ 900, For work on my car (water pump, etc) not even a year ago only to find out my car needs the same work done again! Called about warranty on their work only to find out that they only warranty their work for 6 months! Don’t come here, overcharging and take advantage of you.

Searched around for auto repair and tire repair since I needed a patch and oil change. Great service! Staff is very knowledgable and very friendly.

Louie G is straight up the man. I was having problems with a brake pad replacement which was installed incorrectly at another local mechanic and decided to come here to fix based on all the positive reviews. Louie is real honest and will be straight up with you regarding issues with your car. Very knowledgeable and was quick to let me know what the problem was just by listening.
Also a great guy overall just to talk to. He’s been a mechanic for years, a star wars fan, gave me a recipe for guacamole, and just enjoys life. Definitely recommended.
The only difficult part could be locating the shop as it is just behind the plaza on the corner of San Gabriel and Foothill, and can be hidden if a bus is stopped there as well.

I never thought my first review would be about a mechanic but here I am telling you all, if you ever need anything repaired
for you car you need to take it to express tire and Auto Service. From setting up my appointment on the phone, to leaving the shop, I have never received such wonderful service. I can honestly say luis the owner made me feel like we’ve known each other for years. He took the time to teach me what type of filter I had and told me if i ever went to another mechanic I would know how explain to them what I needed. Yes, I am a woman and you may be thinking he was nice to you because you’re female, please set that idea aside. Two men came in and he treated these men the same way he treated me. Honesty, friendly and loyalty is what this business is all about. If you want someone who is passionate about cars go to Luis. If you love good quality customer service go to Luis. If you want to chit chat about traveling, food, family and cars go to Luis.

Great first experience. Came in to get a quote for a full set tire change and was treated very well. I was greeted was kindness and generosity. All my questions were answered adequately and honestly. I would highly recommend coming here for any vehicle repairs.

Outstanding service! I stopped in today for an oil change and I’m so thankful I’ve stumbled across this great family-​owned repair shop (thank you, Unilocal). I’m driving down to San Diego later today, and Luis went above and beyond to ensure that my car was safe and taken care of.

This place has been incredibly kind and generous. Today was my third experience, and this time they just helped me get my battery charged across the street.
I will definitely be returning again and again for car needs whenever I am in Azusa. Definitely one of the few places I feel I can trust will be honest and helpful at a reasonable cost.

I found a nail in my tire today and was very anxious since I am taking my car to San Francisco tomorrow! Louie was able to help me immediately and on top of his great, speedy service, he’s a pretty funny guy! I was so grateful for the help and to have found a trustworthy place in the area. So I recently drove over a curb and popped my left front and rear tires. I was lucky to have been close to these guys. Not only did they find me a great priced tires, but when they went to pick them up from their suppliers and they didn’t have the cheap ones they grabbed a premium pair and sold them to me for the price we had agreed on.
Great staff, honest mechanics, I am bringing my car back to these guys!

My daughter wanted to take the 2007 Toyota Corolla to college this year but I did not have time to change the oil beforehand.
I found this place on Unilocal and gave it a try.
Luis is very friendly and straightforward. He gave us an estimate and a discount and told us it would take about an hour (because there were other customers)
When we came back he said he had checked some other items on the car (brakes, coolant, etc) and told us everything looks good.
I would come back to this place if my daughter’s car had any issues.

Never disappointed here! My tire was leaking air for a while and I put off getting it fixed and just pumped air into it, but it was about time I get my tire patched. I called to see their hours and Luis was nice enough to accommodate me and my busy schedule. He actually came in early before he normally opens and patched my tire up as well as do an inspection on my car. Seriously this is the only place I’m going to go to for my car needs now. Luis is very nice and knowledgeable and honestly answered all of my questions.

Traveling home on the freeway back to Vegas and I noticed my car wobbling as I was driving. Pulled over and Unilocaled tire repair and found this place. Never been to Azusa, but I had no choice since I needed to be home. Found this tire shop and met Louie. He explained that it was a bad tire and I needed to replace it. He managed to give me a great deal on a used tire just to ensure I made it to Nevada safely! What a life saver!
It’s very difficult being a woman and not knowing much about cars. To know that there are still genuine people who don’t try to take advantage is a great feeling. Especially since I was in a hurry. I would recommend this place. Thanks again!

I had such a great experience here. I needed help putting my spare tire under my car and Luis did it right away and for free. He was SO friendly and helpful. I will definitely come back here when I have problems with my car. Great service…

I got a flat tire on the freeway and, from the looks of the metal shard jammed deep into my tire, pretty much assumed I’d have to buy a new tire. I drove here, Luis took a look at it, and he said it could be patched without a problem. He patched it for cheap instead of trying to sell me a $ 150 tire. However, he did take me outside to show me that my tires were going to go bald soon and that I’d need to replace them all in a couple months. I really appreciated his sincerity and that he didn’t try to get me to buy something unnecessarily! I’ve been driving my car long distances for about a month since, and the patched tire works like a charm.
While I waited for Luis’s employee to do the patching job, we talked, and he gave me some tips for learning Italian because he’s learning it too! He’s a great guy, and I never expected my flat tire experience to end so well. I’ll definitely be back if my car needs anything while I’m living in that area!
