This is my fourth time coming here and I have to say this restaurant is magnificent. I myself come from Salvadorian heritage and love the food from there. This spot is amazing. The pupasas are delicious and remind me of my grandma’s cooking. The chips here are one of a kind. They are fried handmade tortillas that come with a complimentary of beans. The two together are just spectacular. Not to mention the food its self is glorious. Once I take a bite from the pupasas my mouth gets watery from the deliciousness. The service is lovely as well they make me feel like I’m around my family. If anyone is looking for a great tasty salvadorian restaurant I recomend coming to La Palma. Also ask about their secret menu they won’t disappointed your taste buds!

Always enjoy eating at La Palma! Their food is tasty and service is always friendly and prompt! I always find the restaurant itself to be clean and maintained. Prices are excellent. I recommend their chicharron and cheese pupusa, their ensalada drink, and their salvadorean horchata! You won’t regret it! I’m taking away one star because I find their curtido(the cabbage salad you eat with pupusa) to be lacking a bit of flavor and bite. Overall, I love this place!

The«La Malcriada»! It was very tasty! It’s a chicarron with cheese pupusa with yuca frita and more chicarron on top with some cortido. Great twist to the putaco pupusa! I’m always looking to try something different! Came back again, and the food keeps on getting better! Loved the nachos! Cam back again, and tried the Putaco again. Tastes great! Tried the Salvadorean Nachos, great! I asked if they had anything new or exciting to test and the owners said they they came up with a «Pupusa Bowl». I said WHAT? They said«Pupusa Bowl»! I said okay, let me have it! It was awesome! It was cut up pupusas in a bowl with rice, beans and some veges and spices. Let’s see what they come up next!

Delicious! First time having yuca and it was really good. Their pupusas were fantastic. I got the pupusa ranchero or something like that. If I could top everything with an egg for the rest of my life I would. But I got the frijole y queso pupusa under and and it was fantastic. The pupusa was alil small but totally worth it. The food did take a lil long but our server was very helpful and welcoming. Coming in here feels like home, and I’m not even el Salvadoran

My family and I went in to eat on a Sunday afternoon. Every booth and table was taken, but that’s a good sign that this place is doing good business. We were bummed we couldn’t sit and eat but still decided to order to go. The man who took our order was knowledgable about the menu and seemed passionate about the cuisine. He was very apologetic about not having enough seats for us. We took our food home and ate and were not disappointed. Excellent pupusas revueltas and«putacos». We’ll be back here again soon but to dine-in next time :)

It was our first time trying Salvadorian food, and we actually found the place on Unilocal. The chef and waiter walked us through the menu and we ended up with amazing food. If you haven’t yet, you definitely need to try this place!

Bland and Burnt Service: Service was excellent. They are extremely polite and very welcoming and they address you as if they’ve known you for years! The loss of stars come from the food, unfortunately. Pupusas: Had a pupusa revuelta and a pupusa de queso con loroco and they were subpar and a little bland. Platanos Fritos: I COULDNOTSWALLOW A BITE! Upon opening them up I notice that they looked burnt but I still tried to taste them. They were awful. I’ve seen pictures in other reviews and they looked great, this was nothing like those. These looked not only burnt but they looked like they were burnt a couple days ago and then microwaved right before they were served to me.

I was so looking forward to eating here but it fell short. Maybe it was a bad day but I doubt I’ll be returning. Service was decent. Drinks were good. We tried the ensalada de fruta, Salvadoran horchata, and the colashampan. All very yummy. Appetizer was very cute and original. They served slices of a handmade fried tortilla with a side of refried beans. Enjoyed it very much. Now unfortunately the main dish, which was the pupusas, were very bland. Not terrible but bland. We also ordered platanos fritos and they were not good at all. The pictures on Unilocal looked so good but the ones we got were definitely not the same. They were burnt and seemed to be old as if they were refried a second time. I was very disappointed with the platanos. Another side dish we ordered was pastelitos de Carne, they were not they best I’ve had but they were good. Overall I expected a lot more from this place considering the reviews they have.

The wait is not the best, you want something and they don’t have some of the things. I’ve been waiting here almost for 20 mins. And nothing… Other than that the food was okay.

Loved the food! The putacos are the best, I had carne asada with beans and it was excellent. I tried a regular taco too but I recommend getting the more authentic putaco. The spicy cabbage and salsa were a great addition. My son liked The fried plantains for dessert. The service was outstanding! We didn’t know what to order and he helped explain the menu items. I will Definitely be back when in town again!

This place is fantastic. Great service, wonderful environment, you have to try the empanadas for desert! And the pupusas with carne asada on them. They also let me make a salvadorian version of carne asada fries

PUTACOS that’s your choice of pupusa(cheese, bean & cheese, chicharon, or mix) served as a tortilla with your choice of meat. This is tasty and filling. We were also given a starter of a plain fried pupusa with a bean dip. The food was outstanding, definitely coming back.

If you love pupusas, you must try the«putaco». The meat is delicious. The service is great. The gentleman was very polite. Over all the best pupusas around. Thank you La Palma!

This place is the bomb! Good portion sizes for the pupusas. The customer service is great! And the environment is the best I’ve seen for a Salvadorian restaurant. If you want to educate some friends on some good Salvadorian food, this place will not disappoint you! Also, make sure you leave space for the empanadas

Ok so the pupusas are still great but the manager idk. I wanted my boyfriend to try them because they are so great, so we bought two pupusas and when we asked for additional coleslaw(the topping), he was saying to pay an additional 2.50 for it when he gave us a little bit(not enough for two). With that charge, I’d rather just buy another Pupusa then? Or just make it myself(since sometimes its not pickled enough) The pupusas are still great but he should list that charge somewhere. Otherwise I get the impression he only treats you nice depending on the company you’re with. Other times I’d gotten it without that rude response. I’ll still be back though. So good and great price.

I heard that the new«palma» restaurant had pupusas, and since it’s sooooo close to home, I just had to try. So I woke up from a massive nap and dozed on over. Chicharon y queso pupusa, order of beans and one of rice. Pupusa was a little light on the stuffing, the rice was pretty good, but the beans were too salty. Encurtido was a little light on the vinegar, like it was too fresh and needed more pickling time. Salsa was too spicy, they should know most Salvi’s don’t do spicy well! Like I mentioned, it’s so close to home. I think I’ll be back soon to try some more treats!

Omg this place is so authentic and delicious… The ensalada(chopped fruit) drink is so refreshing and delicious on a hot day. The horchata tastes perfectly like Central American horchata. They bring out thick tortilla strips and bean dip for a starter(like a mexican restaurant’s chips and salsa)… Omg to die for! And don’t get me started on the hand made pupusas with fresh Curtido(pickled cabbage) and salsa!!! I haven’t even finished eating and I already want to come back for dinner! PS– the workers here are so friendly. The customer service is great!

I found this place on Unilocal and after reading the great reviews i decided to try it. And i must say that i will definetely be back. I used the order link on Unilocal and i went there to pick up my order, it was packaged and ready to go. I love pupusas and i really enjoyed these. I ordered 1 revuelta pupusa, 1 chicharon and queso pupusa and an order of the fried bananas with crema and frijoles. I was not a fan of the bananas with the beans and cream, but the bananas alone were yummy. The pupusas were fresh and delicious and flavorful.
