History

Established in 2015.

I’m from Japan and moved here in 2011.

Sadly the stray cats and dogs situations are really bad in Japan. I researched about animal testing and animal abuse as my final report in high school and discovered many unfortunate and painful facts. This further lead to an interest in animal care in other countries and developing further knowledge of all types of animals.

After I graduated from high school I visited Australia and did an internship at an adoption center for cats and dogs. It was a great learning experience and I had an amazing, unforgettable time there.

About a year later I went back to Australia for another internship. My job there was taking care of the native Australian animals and was another precious experience in my life!

After several years of hard work, I’m very grateful and happy to open my own business!

Hello everyone and thank you so much for visiting my yelp page!

As you know, I am from Japan and have been surrounded by animals since I was born. My relatives owned some land at the base of Mount Akagi in Gunma prefecture, Japan where i would often visit and take care of their horses. Additionally, my grand parents were also dog breeders so I was introduced to taking care of dogs and puppies at a very young age and made me a huge animal lover! Our family always had a lot of pets because my sister and I would often rescue stray cats and dogs.

I simply just love animals!

Taking care of animals is my dream job and my goal is provide the best service for you with the best price.

I will do my best to take great care of your best friend while you’re gone!

Sky’s the Limit is the best pet sitting service around. We used Aki for almost a year to walk our dog. She was always professional and I could tell that she really cared for my pup. Sadly, we had to relocate to Atlanta for work and we can only hope that we find a dog walking service as wonderful as Sky’s the Limit here.

This review is way over due. I went to travel out of country for a week and Aki took care of my cats and their litter box while I was gone. She came over before my travel to do orientation of my house and litter box. While I was gone, She brought her toys for them, played with them and took videos of them and sent it to me. Litters were well taken care of. She’s organized, trust worthy and reasonable price. I will be calling her again next time I travel.

Aki and Destinne took care of my 2 Labs twice a week for 5 weeks. I was able to know how the dog where each day through pictures and videos texted me each visit
I highly recommend them and I will continue to use there services in the future.
When I returned after 5 weeks my dogs where healthy and happy and my house was as I left it.
We had issues with my house alarm but both Aki and Destinne call or texted me and we where to correct the issue. Great people to work with.

Aki is a true professional! Yet sweet and amazingly loving and patient with our aging fur baby Rosy. We can’t thank her enough! Our dog seems happier since Aki takes her on regular walks and we love the pictures she sends of our dog on her walks! It gives us peace of mind to know she’s getting exercise on a regular basis.

I highly recommend Sky’s the Limit Pet Service! I recently used their services to pet sit for my 7 year old persian boy since I was away on a work trip. I used them for three ½ hour pet sitting services and was very happy with the service I received. They were very accommodating with the schedule I picked and communicated any time changes to the schedule right away. I also appreciated the texts and pictures I received of my little boy when I was away and the best part was the Pet Report Card they filled out for him for each visit. Aki and Destinee were also friendly, reliable and went above and beyond with vacuuming and cleaning his litter box and keeping his eating area neat and tidy. I will definitely use them again when I’m away for a long period of time.

Aki and Destinee took care of my cat while my husband and I were visiting family for the holidays. In short, they were downright wonderful.
My cat requires two medications on a daily basis, so it gave me great peace of mind to know that he was in capable hands and would get his medicine throughout the day. But even better were the updates that Aki and Destinee sent during their visits. I loved receiving pictures and messages about what Teddy (my cat) was up to while Aki and Destinee were there. I looked forward to them each day.
Aki has started a wonderful petsitting business and I’m so glad I found her online. She and her staff are top-​notch. They’re organized, pay attention to detail, and it’s obvious that they’re passionate about what they do and give 100% to the animals under their care. I highly recommend Sky’s the Limit and will most definitely give Aki a call when I need someone to care for my cat again.

I have used a few pet sitters prior to finding Aki and she is the best by far! She sent me and text and multiple pictures with every visit to let me know when she was coming and going. I have two small dogs that are older and take multiple medications and have a particular routine. Aki was able to accommodate their routine and had no problem with my requests and medicating both of my dogs. I am a very picky pet parent and Aki made me feel so comfortable while I was out of town. I would recommend her to anyone!

Aki is the best! My husband and I had to go away for a week and dreaded the idea of boarding our two cats at a pet hotel. I have nothing against pet hotels; however, I dislike the idea of confining our two cats in a small space. Also, we know our cats like to stay home home and they are terrified of car rides. Therefore, we decided to hire someone to come to our home instead. I can’t lie, we were hesitant about having a stranger in our home and skeptical about the service that the hired help could provide. I’m happy to report that we got so so so lucky with Aki! We randomly looked up some pet sitting business reviews on Unilocal and found Aki’s website. We met Aki shortly after and felt at ease. Aki is detail oriented and responsible. Most importantly, she has a lot of love and patience for animals. During the week that we were away, Aki took good care of our cats and sent us pictures and updates immediately after each visit. I rarely write review but feel compelled to comment on Aki’s petsitting service. I contacted all petsitter companies around my area. On the initial consultation day, I noticed that for some reasons my cats took the initiative to greet her, something that they rarely do to a stranger. Aki has the way to put them at ease. My cats knew better who to trust so I hired Aki.
Bc of Aki, I am able to go on a longer trip without worrying about my cats all the time. She came to my house to feed and play with my cats everyday. She sent me plenty of photos, videos, and a record card everyday. My cats seem to have so much fun. I heard Aki’s giggling as what I would normally do, a sign of genuine care for my cats. From the videos, I noticed my cats show so much affection toward her.
I am kind of worried that Aki will soon be booked up with so many good reviews but I think she totally deserves the praises. My cats and I are deeply grateful for her excellent service and kind heart.

Aki is an angel! We were very cautious about having a pet sitter come into our home and watch our 3 fur babies while we go on vacation. But Aki certainly allayed all our concerns and went above and beyond our expectation. Our 3 dogs absolutely loved her! Even our skittish jackal-​like rescue, felt very comfortable with her. Like all the reviews here, Aki takes pictures of your babies and writes a report card. Will be using her again in October. Highly recommended. Give her a try and you won’t be disappointed. We recently moved to the area and had a 2 week vacation planned but didn’t have anyone to watch our Cat while we were away. I found Aki on Unilocal and reached out to her via her website. She was very quick to respond, in fact I had initially tried another company but when I hadn’t heard from them, Aki followed up immediately. Everything about Sky’s the Limit service is professional and reliable, from the website, follow up, invoices, Report cards and more. Aki did a wonderful job of pet sitting, on every visit she sent us photos, videos and even a Report Card with an update on our Cat. Aki is a fantastic pet sitter! She is extremely responsive and reliable. I feel better about leaving my dog at home ever since I found Aki. She genuinely cares for my dog and I really appreciate all of the text/​pics updates she sent us. Aki would leave you with report card after each session so you know how your pet is doing during the session.

Aki has been walking my dog Murray for the past few weeks, and I couldn’t be happier! She’s so wonderful with him and I love that she texts me a few photos during their walks together. 1. Because I like to know that he’s being taken care of and 2. I miss him during the day and like to see his smiling face. I completely trust Aki and especially love the doggie report cards she leaves after each walk.
Dog walking can get pretty expensive and she has some great competitive prices and I love that she sometimes brings over her dog to walk with Murray, it’s always great for him to be a happy social pup.
All in all, Aki is great, trustworthy, and is a genuinely good person who has a passion for animals.

I was referred to Sky’s the Limit from a friend, because a change in my work schedule meant my two yorkies were left alone at home for too long :(
I was hesitant to try a boarding area as it may stress my two small dogs to be with so many other dogs. I decided to try this service since they offer in-​house pet sitting and walks.
I talked to Aki over the phone and then met her to discuss pet sitting. I could immediately tell Aki was a total animal lover and my dogs took an immediate liking to her. It’s pretty impressive to have an in-​house service thats less expensive than many boarding places!
