St Frances of Rome School

Are you kidding me? This is a no Brainer! There’s no education like a faith based education. Our daughter did all her schooling here and afterwards went to Pomona Catholic (the new BUZZ), and, now goes on to start at U. C. L. A. Are we proud? You bet! Now, I have my youngest son and 5 grandkids all going at the same time. Tuition after the 3^rd kid is free!

All of our children have attended and graduated from different Catholic elementary schools within the San Gabriel area; all which were positive. However, because of logistical reasons and because of a close friend (Jeannette) who recommended SFR, we decided to send our youngest child Noah. Noah just completed TK and I have to say that our experience has been an overwhelming positive experience and a blessing to our family. The teachers, parent involvement and the curriculum have prepared our son for first grade. We look forward to growing our faith and our child’s education in the years to come. Fight on SFR Lancers…

Terrible experience at this school!
More importantly, my son had a terrible time at this school.
It’s a shame that people hide themselves off as educators. The principal is an absolute moron when it comes to dealing with children. Has no understanding on how to talk to children, let alone deal with them.
The pre-​kinder teacher needs to be re-​trained as well. Soft spoken, good intentions, but needs to know, all children are not the same and should not be medicinally lobotomized!
My son last one week and in the end, the principal and office staff tried every attempt to withhold the registration monies from us.
It is a true shame when a few selfless, bitter people who portray themselves as teachers ruin it for those who really are teachers and go above and beyond for their students.
