I like this library. It’s not a huge library, but it’s perfect for the village of Babylon. They have plenty of computers for you to use if you don’t have one, or if yours is broken. They have the capacity to print and fax. My old library in East Northport gave you the first 5 – 10 prints free, but Babylon charges 10 cents per page. My printer has bitten the metaphorical dust, so when I come here, I do so with pocket change. They have a great selection of new books and movies, as well as plenty of other good reads to choose from. And they have an adult summer reading program here — I’ve read four books this summer so far. With each book you read, you get a raffle ticket. A raffle ticket buys you a chance to win a basket of cool stuff. This, my fellow bibliophiles, is way better than when I was in elementary school and all I got was a sticker in a summer readers folder. FYI, I used to fill up two of those folder every summer. If you’re a local, check out this library — you won’t be disappointed. And don’t be afraid to ask the lovely ladies at the reception desk for a book recommendation — they’ll be happy to help you.

Pretty library! It’s small but very cozy. The place is clean, very organized. There seems to be a good selection of items to check out, there’s a gas fireplace and you can sit down in a nearby chair with some books and warm up while you read. I love coming here when I have the time.

This place is aight. Nice looking from the outside and plenty clean inside, but really tiny. There are about 8 tables with 4 chairs each situated in the middle of aisles of books, a corner with 10 community computers to use, a kids section and a community room. I would imagine they don’t have the largest selection of books or research materials bc of the size, but I was just there for some laptop clickity-clack, so what do I know. A perfect place to come in, grab a book/DVD and bounce. I wouldn’t suggest it for any study sessions or quiet work spaces.
