Never have I been so infuriated at a managers lack of knowledge of their own payment system! My night was RUINED as I was told my Visa debit gift card, which had PLENTY of money on it was not an acceptable form of payment. I have never had a problem using a Visa debit gift card anywhere. I even offered to pay the tip with cash. I don’t know why the Chilis payment system would be so «unique.» After all that my girlfriend is sure the chicken crispers gave her food poisoning. She had chills and was vomiting all night long.

I have tried to like this place a handful of times and it is consistently awful. The bartenders here are the absolute worst. You have to ask for things constantly as they are not intuitive to guest’s needs. I try to give benefit of doubt(bad day, in the weeds, etc) but the service never changes. After this last visit with the girl that was bartending, I will never be back.

Cons: Dirty; host was not courteous and looked annoyed to be at work; the place has feel that is run down, the food was ok, we had to ask a waiter to serve us(he didn’t even know we weren’t waited on), saw an employee with lots of necklaces(how professional is that?) Pros: Waiter was a cool guy and apologized for the inconvenience. Overall, the place did not feel welcome or CLEAN.

This is honestly the poorest service I have ever received in a restaurant. The waitress got our order wrong despite repeating the order to her three times. She was also very awkward in communicating with us. The meat in the food was cold so we returned it, and only received new meals after a long delay. The food was substandard. We will not be back.

Place looks and feels run-down. My wife described it as «suicide’s waiting room.» The host looked completely dazed, and didn’t seem to notice that half the tables in the bar area were filthy(like they just hadn’t been bused at all.) The dining area had tons of empty tables, but there were still a bunch of people waiting. It’s like half the staff didn’t show up that day. We sat at one of the bar area tables, and waited for 15 minutes for someone to come by without much luck and just left. I’m giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because the bartender was clearly trying and was definitely overworked, but the rest of the staff just seemed indifferent and spaced out. Despite the fact that there were a bunch of people waiting/not getting served, the few workers were just sort of ambling around aimlessly.

The waiter allowed our expire be disappointimg. We thought we would give this restaurant another chance but we were disappointed with the food and service. The waiter was in a rush and we were polite but when the waiter disappeared the 2nd time for more than 20 minutes we should ha email left right then.

Im not a big fan of this style restaurant but this place is the worst. I stood waiting 15min for someone to take my order at the To Go counter. That wasnt the big problem though. The real problem was that three people looked at me and ignored me. One had the nerve to ask me if I had been helped and then proceeded to help her coworker clean up instead. Then the screw up my order on top of that. How do you mess up a chicken salad?

Service terrible, Food terrible– found hair in mine! — and overall worst Chili’s I’ve ever been to. The only nice thing I can say about this chain is that I have been to other Chili’s locations, specifically in Gainesville and Stafford that are much nicer and the food was good. But last night, I tried the one in Bailey’s Crossroads. Never again. I ordered online for curbside the Ancho Salmon + side salad w/avocado slices. When I got to the curbside pickup I sat a few minutes because I had a feeling no one was looking for me, so I went into the To Go entrance. The person working the To Go station was on the phone, back turned. I waited patiently for him to finish on the phone. Meanwhile, 3 servers walked by, one apparently was putting together a to go order for a friend/boyfriend because as I stood there she sat on the bench next to him while she handed him his food. Let me add, the restaurant was slow, not many people dining so it’s not as if they were slammed with a full house. Even the Manager walked up, ignored me when the employee on the phone needed assistance, so the Mgr helped him, still no one acknowledged me. Then I would say this was about 3 – 5 minutes of awkward standing, another employee strolled up and said did you order online, I said yes, told him my name and he said here you go. The bag was sitting there the whole time. Was hoping the food would be redeeming. But I found not one, but TWO hairs in my food. 1 in my salad and 1 in my entrée. Gross! :(I have long hair, but my hair was in a tight bun, there is no way it was mine! You know that experience, where you are chewing and you feel the hair in your mouth and have to pull it out? OMG. Still cringing, and almost mad at myself. The fact I tried to eat any of the entrée after finding the hair in the salad makes me feel so stupid. I should’ve known better. Someone pretty friggen hairy must’ve been preparing food in that kitchen last night. I am sick thinking about it. On top of that, the portions were small, very small and just overall not fresh or impressive, even for Chili’s. Can’t believe I spent $ 23 on such a horrible meal!

Will be writing a full review after I contact the manager tomorrow. DONOTCOMEHERE. ^^^Still saying that about this particular one. However, corporate Chili’s convinced me to give them another shot because of the experience I had with them which I did at a different Chili’s and it was great. This Chili’s needs: 1. Not to close 15 minutes early and run to lock me out of the restaurant becuase they have started cleaning. 2. New management to train the servers not to lie to customers about closing time and then call them a «bitch» as they are walking back to their car. 3. Probably should vet who they hire from now on.

Bad costumer services to start we came in no body try to sit us or said something until we said something. We sat down i saw all the tables having salsa and chips but we didn’t get any of it! My daughter ordered the burger bites and fries there waaas a big ass hair in between the fries eww. I ordered the fajitas chicken and steak. The chiken look like the ones in the bags from any store at the end some bites tasted spoiled. The steak was very flavorful thats the only thing I enjoy. My husband ordered the baby back ribs not good at all no flavor I had a piece and it was cold. They even charge you for the damn gave in the table if you bring your kids dont let them played.

Special thanks to Mr. Martinez, the manager of this place. He was able to fix my issue I had with this location very quickly. I was very pleased with his kindness, and it’s people like this that make situations comfortable :) I had a problem with my check and extra tip being added on, but once I called, Edwardo Martinez really assured me that it was a horrible act on the waiter and he will take care of it for me. Thanks Mr. Martinez (4 star because despite the dishonesty & cheating experience I had with my waiter, the manager was quick to fix it for me.)

I have always been a Chilis fan because you never could go wrong with their food, after all, it’s the same recipe every country you go to. However, this particular place, which is blocks away from my home and I visit because of the convenient location, gets only one star, and it’s just for the food and happy hour deals. I have visited this place plenty of times and the service ALWAYS sucks. From the moment you walk in there is never anyone at the hosted table to receive you, no matter how full or empty the place could be. The tables sit with the previous customers dirty places for a while until a few of the waiters are outside getting their cigarette fix in. Since they now have these nice convenient«ordering kiosks» at each table, I guess it’s not important for them to swing by the table even to check on a refill for a drink. Constantly I have had to get up and ask the bartender for silverware as they place the plate on your table and keep on walking. Nothing like asking if we want steak sauce for our steak or more chips for our salsa. The appetizer plates are not removed from the table once the main entrees are out. Another great experience I had was, while sitting with a friend and his 10 year old son at a table, all of a sudden some lady swings by, leaves a little card on the table, keeps walking, but I notice she was doing the same on other tables. Immediately I look at the card, while I am eating, to find the picture of some little girl with some condition where her face is all deformed(sad horrid view) and a script requesting for money. I got up looking for a waiter, no one around, everyone else at the tables wondering why this lady was allowed to do this. I find a manager in the back, tell him about it, he comes out collects the cards and waves the lady outside the establishment. Had there been a host at the entrance as Chilis is scheduled to have this uncomfortable moment could have been prevented. Honestly you are better off driving a little more and going to the one in Crystal City. The service at this place sucks and now I know why they always have a big sign in front that there are always hiring. Perhaps they should start by getting rid of their unprofessional managers and take a little more pride on the business. Chilis has a reputation for good comfort food. This place is ruining it!!!

Nope! Don’t go for a bar experience. Stay at home if you don’t like news and talk shows on bar tvs, instead of sports. They must dislike a busy bar. Poor waitress can’t make money like the way it is managed. Cancelled beer and left because could not have tv channel changed to the«madness».

We love the endless soup and salad bowls for lunch. I will call ahead to find out what the soup of the day is. Hubby likes the chili(pun not intended).

Had not been to a Chili’s in a while. Didn’t have particularly high expectations, but we had a great dinner. Food was good — I got one of the low cal meals, the mango-chile chicken, and i ate the whole thing. The boyfriend got the chicken crispers, and he was very satisfied. They refilled my unsweetened ice tea before it was empty, service was good, and dessert was yummy. All in all a great experience, and the place was clean and in good shape.

I haven’t been to Chili’s in a country minute, so when my co-worker suggested a group of us go to lunch and she gave us an option of Olive Garden and Chili’s…of course I chose Chili’s. Went here during what we thought would be a high volume Friday lunch hour, but to my surprise, it wasn’t crowded at all. Before we could place our orders, our server asked if we would like seperate checks, which was perfect. As I combed over the menu, I noticed a lot of improvements made to the menu. They have excellent lunch options for the«really hungry» or the«I’ll just grab a salad» person. I decided on a ½ turkey club sandwich on Texas Toast, Caesar salad and fries. The food came out quickly and piping hot. The food was as tasty as I remembered, but how could you go wrong with anything being on Texas Toast!!! Our server was great and we were able to be seated quickly, order quickly and enjoy our meal so we could return back to work at a reasonable time. All and all, a decent place for lunch if you’re in the area.
