History
Established in 2011.
It’s about flavors for the adult palate. My little farm is surrounded by a hedge of blackberries, the fruit of the gods. Blackberry jam took me to blackberry syrup and on to bruleed blackberry jam. A thriving rhubarb patch resulted in rhubarb marmalade, rhubarb cordial and rhubarb pickle. A lifetime of food preservation and a dedication to local food resilience are the foundations of Island Apple Cottage.
