Took the ferry across to Bainbridge and came across this ice cream place. Even though we had just stopped at another local bakery, I couldn’t pass up ice cream! I tried the mora blackberry and dulce de leche and both were so incredible. Their single scoop is actually two scoops so you can split the flavors– cant beat that :)

This place is an obsession of mine. Turns out they hadn’t location in Bellevue to start out, but it closed when the owner put one in on Bainbridge where he loves, so he consequently closed the Bellevue location. So I find myself taking a ferry to Bainbridge island now every month to get my Mora’s fix. They let you sample as many flavors as you like before picking a few to buy. I think my record was 15 samples, and they were happy to share! You can divide your scoops into two smaller scoops to get twice as many flavors when you order! I always get the lemon bar, which is a lemon ice cream with nilla wafers blended in to mimic a crust. Their pistachio is phenomenal as well. They use local ingredients as much as they can in their ice cream. On my last trip in, I discovered that the price difference for a double scoop versus a double scoop with a molten lava cake is literally $ 1.50, so you know what I will be ordering next time I go in!

I visited Mora’s in July 2014. If I remember correctly, there are seating areas and a purple bench outside Mora’s for your pleasure. We sat on the purple bench because when is the next time you’ll get to sit on a purple bench on Bainbridge Island? Anyways. back to my review. The ice cream is GREAT and probably one of the best ice cream I have ever had! If you’re taking the ferry and do not have a car, never fear because Mora’s Ice Cream is within walking distance in central«downtown.» The ice cream was so creamy and samples of different flavors are offered. The ice cream was so creamy and you can tell it was homemade and not conventional Bryer’s ice cream. One interesting note about Mora’s is that Mora SHIPS ice cream. You heard me, they mail ice cream to consumers. I’m not sure exactly how shipping ice cream works but you know an ice cream establishment is great if they ship ice cream across the country! I will go to Bainbridge Island JUST to eat Mora’s Ice Cream again!

Totally excellent. Smooth and creamy with delicious rich flavors. Perfect serving temperature for the ultimate creaminess. Mexican Chocolate and Dulce were the best!

Tasty ice cream shop on Bainbridge island. After enjoying a short boat trip on the union lake, you’ll appreciate a waffle ice cream there. I tasted the sabayon and gianduia and these flavors were delicious. The service is good and price okay.

The name says it all — more ya! Great options and fantastic flavors tied to large portion size. Can you ask for anything else? Two flavors allowed for one scoop… line is long but moves fast. Worth the wait.
