Two inviting suites with private garden entrances, fully equipped kitchens, living, dining & sleeping areas offer casual elegance & comfort. Warm light fills the spacious two-​story, high-​ceilinged suites. Relaxing decks expand your amazing views.

From the Loft Suite’s sumptuous sleeping loft you’ll view Mt. Baker & feel like you’re sleeping in the treetops. A very romantic unit that has been recently updated with many nice amenities! Enjoy taking a bath in an old fashioned claw tub or simply enjoying your cup of coffee anywhere in the suite with a view!

The Carriage House is in its own dwelling, the bedroom features glass French doors opening to the living space & deck with views of the water & mountains.

History

Established in 1995.

Skiff Point Guest House originally founded by Jan Parker, she beautifully decorated and designed each suite. She had welcomed and delighted guests for over 15 years. In the last few years Skiff Point has been ran by her daughter, Kristin and is now the hostess and owner. Continuing in her mother’s footsteps offering guests a special place to come year after year! This is a very special place where you can enjoy taking in the beauty and peacefulness, where memories begin and live on…

History repeated… Skiff Point, a geographic point of land, enjoy it’s history and a music venue too, with Island Music Guild, just walking distance from Skiff Point Guest House, offering local and national musicians. Skiff Point is repeating the early 1900 history of offering lodging here. A 1909 hotel on Skiff Point lured entertainers as a Chautauqua venue. The name «Chautauqua» was given to tent shows of famous actors who traveled to small towns across the US.

Continuing tradition and carrying on «a mothers dream». Skiff Point has so many special touches to each suite and spectacular views that are enjoyed by its guests. Its a desire to continue with what my mother worked so hard at, creating a special retreat for guests, «where stranger come and leave as friends».

I have always enjoyed the hospitality industry and I am blessed and thrilled that I can now be in this business. I love to offer my guests those special little touches that bring so much joy not only to me but most importantly my guests. Its my goal to give my visitors a memorable time here at Skiff Point Guest House where they create joyous memories to last a lifetime.

I will continue to work on making this place a memorable retreat for all to enjoy for years to come.
