Andy did a great job for us. He stayed late and finished up the job and showed up on time
Prices are reasonable and he does quality work — including putting up 3 ceiling fans and a coach light. Also assembled some storage units. I would highly recommend his services!

Andy was great. I have tenants that call for the tiniest stuff, things that you might even be embarrassed to ask a handyman to examine (like a battery change for a beeping alarm, or tenants who complain one part of the bathroom is dark – but don’t notice that the light bulb is missing!). I called Andy, and he was as polite and gracious as anyone could be. Pointed out to them where the battery is slipped in, and noted that one small light bulb screwed into this socket will thwart darkness. Despite my whiny tenants, I knew a service call was a service call – and was prepared to bite the bullet – but Andy recognized how insignificant the job was and charged me a minuscule amount I am even embarrassed to mention. Andy is FAIR – and for a handyman that guarantees him a 5-​star rating in my book! Even with my occasionally worrisome tenants – you feel that no job is too big or too small for Andy. Always comes around with a positive, upbeat attitude. He loves his work. The Go-​To Guy every time!

Made an appointment with Andy. We called/​texted multiple times to set up and confirm it. He didn’t show, didn’t call. I gave him three days to contact me, then hired someone else.

I called to get my locks changed after a roommate moved out without returning her keys. A-​1 offered to rekey the locks instead so that I wouldn’t have to spend as much. They were quick and efficient and I’ll definitely call A-​1 again if I need anything done at my home.

I called him yesterday and he made room for us today. Andy was efficient, knowledgeable and so good at his job. We needed a sliding glass door repaired and he had it done in about an hour and a half. He was friendly, explained each step and highly skilled. Will keep his number first in our phone book from now on.

I called A-​1 Anytime Maintenance for a plumbing leak and the installation of a new kitchen faucet. Andy was right on time for the appointment we made and he finished the job perfectly. My best friend and I just moved in to a house together and our adult skills are not completely up to par. The house does not have central air (which neither of us have had to deal with before), and there were swamp coolers in all of the windows. Being as its January and freezing outside having most of the windows in the house half way open was not ideal. So we started taking the coolers out, two bedrooms went perfectly. The living room however, was a bit dramatic. The swamp cooler was twice as big as the bedrooms. It took the both of us girls to carry it out to the garage, almost dropping it multiple times. We get it put up in the garage, come back inside, and the window is STUCK OPEN. Both of our body weights won’t budge it. We’re searching online trying to find a solution, and nothing. Being it was Saturday we started panicking thinking we’d have to keep the window open all weekend and wait for businesses to open up on Monday. Not the case. I searched maintenance in my iPhone map app, a1 maintenance popped up and I decided to see where it got me. Andy answered after two rings, and was at the house within a few hours. He fixed the window within 30 minutes, and charged a very reasonable price. He gave us a little background info on his company. It’s completely family ran, even his little granddaughter helps out (you can see her eating pizza in one of the pictures posted), so cute! Although we are renting and we have a maintenance guy that is supposed to fix things for us. Andy will always be our first phone call. I know I’ll rent in other places and eventually I’ll buy a house, I plan on keeping a1 maintenance around for a long time. Thanks Andy!

Andy was awesome. I called because my heater wasn’t working. He came the same day. Turns out the gas was just turned off and the heater unplugged! *Doh!* Even though he came out for the call, he didn’t charge anything. I think I just found my go-​to maintenance guy!

Andy does a great job ! You can trust he will do the job well and follow through with his commitments. He does professional estimates and invoices for your records. Andy can do just about anything. I had Andy do numerous repairs on my rental in Bakersfield, and he is was very knowledgeable on how to fix or repair each. The renter was also very impressed with his work and work ethic.
