Fyi, I’m not a pro. I’m just a normal guy who loves to eat. I started Unilocaling so I could help others find delicious places to eat.
So, I normally don’t write reviews on fast food joints. You pretty much know what you’re getting yourself into when you visit fast food restaurants. However, I wanted to point out that this place always has the freshest food.
One of my go to fast food sandwiches is the Spicy Chicken Sandwich at Carl’s Jr. As you may already know, fast food restaurants seem to always have better quality food when they are located in west Bakersfield. This place is no exception. Their food is fresh! I love getting the Spicy here because the chicken is always hot.
I assume their food is fresh because they probably make it as you order it. This in turn causes a delay in serving. Whether you’re dining in or going through the drive thru, you should expect a small delay in receiving your food. Trust me it’ll be worth it.
Please keep in mind I gave this restaurant 5 stars in comparison to other Carl’s Jr. locations.

I was suprised by the mixed reviews after our great experience here. We brought a group of students here before a competition each ordering a individually and some ordering milkshakes at 8:30am. The staff was great! Very helpful and nice to our students. They filled all of our orders qucikly and the food came out hot and just the way we ordered it. Got our food out, students fed, and out the door just in the right amount of time.

Was made to use a «Spanish only» debit/​credit machine, not given option for English. Should have walked out.

Food is cooked good. But I hate it when they asked me to park in the parking lot and wait for my food with no cars are behind me in the drive-​through. I understand if there’s a line.

I waited over 20 min for my order before going to the counter to check on this order. They had canceled my order that was placed. It took a total of 40 min before receiving order with three hungry children. Our meal didn’t come at once. My daughter went to the counter for a refill & was totally ignored by the staff. I would never eat at this restaurant again. Customer service def. needs improvement.

Went through the drive-​thru, my simple order took 4 min start to finish.
SUPER friendly guy took my order.
He was fast and efficient.

DO NOT GO. the customer service is so rude and gives attitude to the customer, especially if you order wrong in drive thru. This big girl got mad at me Because I ordered a drink they didn’t have inside, yet they have on the drive thru menu. She gave me more attitude when I paid for my order at the window. She also had these gross hands, that had chipped glitter pink nail polish on them. I well never go there again. Poor service, soggy and cold food.
When I tried to contact the store, they so conveniently had the phone attached to the fax machine so they couldn’t get complaints about their restaurant.

Wait time 20 minutes, forgot to put ranch and ketchup after we asked for it… small and burnt chicken tenders and chicken stars. overall don’t waist your time and money here.

Downgraded because the last few times that I have went, the wait time to get the food has been incredibly unreasonable. Also, I have been sick to my stomach ever since my last trip here, don’t think that I will be returning for a for a good long time.
