Came in here the other day– BEAUTIFUL little place, like walking into someone’s gorgeous garden. And that’s the trouble– unless you regularly shop for plants out of a friend’s garden. There’s no organization at all, and no way to know which plants are for sale, some of them are so ‘grown into’ the garden, I can’t imagine they could be for sale. Interesting that this place is completely shaded, and has so many water features, it’s like walking into a giant greenhouse. I don’t know that I could ever simulate those growing conditions at my house, in Bakersfield, in the DESERT, so I’m not sure what people are buying here. I wandered around for a bit, never saw an employee, or was approached by one. I finally found a little room that clearly had plants for sale, took a look at a small Philodendron that stood about a foot high, turned the pot around and saw a price of 32 dollars!!! After I scooped my jaw off the ground, I hustled right out of there.

This place is awesome. This is by far the best place in town for plants and arrangements. They have an incredibly well stocked greenhouse and if you’re like me and would rather give a live plant than cut flowers that will soon be dead, their delivery fees are very reasonable and their arrangements are beautiful. They have a great selection of both green and flowering plants and the staff is really great about putting something together for you over the phone. One more awesome thing would be the grounds itself. There is an amazing botanical garden there for you to stroll though as well as a gift shop with a ton of unique gifts for both the home and garden.
