Today was my first time here and it was a pleasant experience from beginning to end. Dr. Narzizi is very knowledgeable and easy going. He made us feel comfortable and explained in great detail what was going on with our eyesight. The lady who helped us with our glasses was friendly and honest. I never got the impression that she was just trying to make a sell. I never felt pressured and will definitely be back.

I went in this morning for a new eye exam and a pair of new glasses as a new patient. I thought I’d be in there forever my appointment was at 930am and at 930am I was called back to start the exam. Got my eyes checked for astigmatism which he recommended I have my almost 5 year old son come in as it could be hereditary huge plus. Then I picked out my glasses with one of the employees who definitely helped me and even showed me some new styles that I might like. I paid for my glasses looked at the time 1005am !!! Amazing staff and Dr. Looking around you can tell that office runs smoothly

When I walked in the door I was greeted by… nothing. I approached the receptionist who was terse and very unfriendly. Apparently, they don’t expect the staffers to be friendly here. I’ve been coming here a few years now but it is never pleasant. The «Heathers» at the front desk are very lacking in kindness or pleasantry. Time after time I watched them act like patients/​customers were stupid or bothersome.
I was called back by Dr. Narzizi quickly and the exam was pleasant. Returned to the waiting room to await the people who would set up my lenses.
After the exam it took 20 minutes to get back with the technician for my glasses. I had a 9:30 appointment and was out by 10:30. The experience was good with the exception of the horrible receptionists. I’m debating finding another eye doctor because I feel very uncomfortable sitting there watching people getting treated poorly. I think this practice could do much better than they have with these two girls. They need serious training about how to treat people.

Here’s a tip. Pay attention to customer satisfaction the WHOLE way thru their experience with your office. Start to finish, not just at the beginning when collecting their insurance info! I don’t appreciate the way this staff made me feel when I came to the door.

I have been a patient here since 1998, they take the best care of their patients. Dr. Ratty and Dr. Narzizi are kind and welcoming with abundant knowledge of proper vision care and treatment. Their staff will go above and beyond when it came to the care of my 5 year old daughter last year when she first started wearing glasses. She has broken stems more times than I can count and are always very quick to make repairs. They welcome families and treat everyone as such. They have a variety of fashionable frames and even a comparison machine to take pictures to help you choose the best look for your face. Adjustments are free and I have once had my order of contacts price matched. They truly value their patients’ business.

My father is a patient and I am currently his voice and guardian as he recently suffered a massive stroke. I do not have any complaints about the optometrist. I am sorely disappointed with the contact technicians and their services. It took a full week to finally get a call back to order contacts. Their communication skills are horrible and don’t count on getting a call back the same day or even the next day. I have placed two calls for a status update on his order and have yet to hear back from them. I purchase my contacts at Costco and have never had such problems placing an order or following up on those orders.

Incredible!!! Did not wait very long and those girls there get down to business. They were very friendly and efficient. As soon as they asked for brief history she took me to the exam room with Dr. Narzisi. He was sooooooo nice and friendly and was overly helpful in explaining what was going on with my eyes. As soon as my appt. was done with him I went to look at frames and the met with Patti. She was the nicest and friendliest person I have ever met in my life. I had an amazing experience!!!

Well we used them because they were on our kaiser plan. And yes their glasses are pricey!!! But I get what you pay for I had my Fendi sunglasses almost 6 years! Yes that’s my $$ worth.
Very nice staff and it is a two week turn around to get your glasses back so if you want them fast, this is not your place.
Very large selection of regular glasses and a room with also a large selection of high end glasses.
So I know everyone can find something here.

I had nothing but a positive experience there. There was no long wait. Completely professional staff. They ushered us into the office for eye chart and measurements and the lady that helped us not only made us feel like we were her first customer but seemed to have incredible patience. Dr. Ratty was equally congenial, thorough and had a great sense of humor!

Get an early appointment at 8:30am when they open and you will be done visiting the doctor and doing your vision tests in a matter of minutes. For me the longest part was selecting frames. Everyone I was in contact with was very nice and professional.
Also, if you have Kaiser insurance this is the place to go!

No frills, quick, efficient, and clean. I was in and out with a new Rx in less than a hour.
I was in a bind — I needed a new contact Rx ASAP. I didn’t have a good experience with my former optometrist so I gave Dr. Ratty’s office a call. They were able to fit me into an appointment the next day (due to a cancellation). When I got to the office, it was busy! However, I waited for no more than 5 minutes and the assistant got right down to business when I entered the exam room. Took a brief history, eye measurements, and passed me on to Dr. Narzisi.
Dr. Narzisi was friendly and honest. He narrowed down my Rx, gave me the standard speech about how wearing my contacts 18 hours a day could damage my eyes, and got me out of the exam room in less than 10 minutes.
One of the many things that this office does right is they removed the optometrists from the sales end of the business. Every optical office wants to push product sales; they need to make money. When the optometrist does it, it looks like he or she only cares about your $$ and not your well being. Credibility shot, right there. In this office, the optometrist never discusses money and passes you onto the pretty girls who try to push product on you. Smart move on the business end.
Overall, I’m impressed by the efficiency level in this office. I’ll be back next year when I need that new Rx.

I loved my visit! I highly reccomend. The attendants are patient. The doctor is very sweet and explains everything carefully. They are also open one Saturday a month, which is great since I work M-​F during business hours. Selection is nice too, they have regular frames, with a nice selection of designer ones. Not sure what Colleen F. is talking about below. All the ladies there were dressed really modestly, no bosoms in sight! I’ve reccomended to my parents and I’m happy to give it a thumbs up here.

This place is great if you’re on the in crowd. If you’re not, good luck getting an appointment. I’ve had been coming here since I was a kid, my parents come here, but when I had to reschedule an appointment, they said too bad, the next opening isn’t for 3 months. So I asked if they could call me if they had a cancellation and I would fill in, but I never received a call. So I called another doc and got right in, been going there ever since.
They do have a nice selection, they even have a room with «high dollar» glasses in it, but like I said before, good luck getting an appointment.

I definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting to get glasses. Nicest people and good service. I go there anytime I am in need for there type of services.

Busy practice, but I’ve never waited too long or felt neglected. I guess I missed the excessive bosom display, but do agree that the sunglass selection is first-​rate.
Quick turnaround time for my order was a bonus, since the soonest exam appointment was three weeks out and I was having to make do without my prescription shades. I was relieved that they treated me right when my first choice pair (gorgeous over-​sized glossy black Dior cat-​eyes) were too heavy to bear for more than 30 minutes. My old faithful jeweled Fendis were still available, in addition to a replacement piece for the old broken pair, so I came out of the deal with a backup too. A pretty spendy deal, but what you expect for all this designer name-​dropping …
On that note, Unless you have a vision plan, this office will not bill insurance for your exam, unlike an ophthalmology practice.

One of the better selection of designer frames in town, but the ladies here really need to button it up. I’m ok with a bit of cleavage every now and again, but an office full of big old lady titties is just too much. I swear, I wonder if Ratty asks for their cup size on the application. Either way, service is blah. Lots of ladies but hardly any help. Getting an appointment is sometimes a chore. Doctors themselves are great, office staff not so much. They could work on the friendly factor… but maybe you can’t buy that at Victoria Secret.
