I want to encourage creativity and diversity in music and expression while developing a good musical foundation.

I have been teaching drumset/​music theory/​hand percussion instruction for the last fifteen years and I am currently looking for students interested in increasing their skill level. My teaching emphasis is on:

*reading music/​writing music

*four/​five way independence

*basic music theory

*creating a quality sound off the instrument

*improving musical expression/​creativity

*hand/​feet combinations

Established in 1994.

I’ve had some amazing teachers over the years. I started to teach in 1994 as a way to passion the lessons I learned. In 2004 I became a drum instructor full time. After hundreds of students and thousands of lessons I have come to the conclusion that I have the greatest career in the world.

Business Owner

Cesareo Garasa is a drummer whose versatility as a player and educator have been on display for over twenty years. Fluent in a variety of styles and consistently in the public eye, playing in front of audiences weekly at venues up and down the state with his band Mento Buru who he has played for since 1991 and voted best band in Bakersfield in the Bakersfield magazine «best of» poll in 2012. His ease in communicating and efficiency in his lessons (due to the influences of the variety of teachers who taught him) has earned him respect among his peers. He is a firm believer in the ethos that every musician is unique and has something valuable to give in their own way, and that in order to achieve excellence– one has to be the eternal student. He has been teaching at Nick Rail Music since 2009 with an emphasis on drumset instruction. Beginner to intermediate level welcome.
