E Gadget Fix

This place is a joke. Honestly, I was lied to, charged $ and got a broken phone back. Then today they had the nerve to read the contract signed back to me. I understand there are contracts, but what about good ol’ honesty. No refund given, and no working phone.
Follow up one day after:
I thought I had been interacting with the owner during this whole process. The actual Owner called me this morning… Calmly said sorry and had me explain, said he would refund and sited specific things he would do to improve overall customer service. He even said if I need service there again, that he would work with me directly because he wants to earn my business! Really bummed my phone is still not functioning, but impressed he called, made things right and then challenged me to use his business again. Cool!

I have an iPhone 6 plus. I shattered the screen and broke off part of the frame. Looks brand new again.
Will only get my gadgets fixed @ Gadget Fix. Friendly, knowledgeable, and quick service.

A week ago I requested a quote from the company on how much it would be to repair my iPhone 5 screen. I got a fast reply which was great! Then once I saw the price I waited it out.
The owner Ben is really nice! He replied to me again recently wondering if I ever got my phone fixed and let me know they lowered some of there prices.
Now that brings me to today. I went it, dropped my phone off and it took roughly around 2 hours to get fixed.
I went it to pick it up and was told since my phone has a dent/​piece chipped off on the corner the screen will lift sooner or later and so being it will need a case.
I wasn’t upset when they told me because they didn’t mess up or anything. It was my fault when I dropped it.
I was very pleased with the repair but it just sucks that the screen will lift up anyways. There customer service was just straight to the point with the two employees I talked too. It wasn’t rude and it wasn’t very sociable but they do get the job done so I don’t mind. However the owner is really nice and I can tell he cares about the customers and his business.

I love to support local businesses. This time a freak accident happened with the screen on my Samsung Note 4. As an IT professional, I have a go to for device repairs online on a business level. But on this occasion, the device was my personal mobile phone. I Google’d and Unilocal’d various locations in Bakersfield in regards to mobile phone repairs. Thats when I ran into E Gadget Fix. Reading the myriad of customer reviews for this business I noticed the owner was responding to reviews personally. So I sent the business a message and in no time I received a response with all my questions answered from Ben, the business owner. The communication with the needs for service was already excellent and thus a very good sign. I dropped off my device on a Tuesday and Justin helped me from behind the counter. I explained what happened and he proceeded to quote me and in detail what parts were needed and labor costs. On Wednesday, I get a call from Justin again explaining my device is ready to be picked up! Within 24hrs my device was in excellent working order. I was even told from the quote that they had to order the parts and that turn around time was «a couple days». They have met and exceeded my expectations and I am very satisfied with the process and quality of work E Gadget has provided. On top of all of that, they have a 90 day warranty on their work so they stand behind that. From communicating with Ben it is evident that they take care of their customers and provide excellent service and back their work up with a 90 day warranty. If you are looking for a place to get your device repaired, look no further. Ben and his team at E Gadget Fix will take care of it for you.

This place ripped me off awhile back. E Gadget thieves and liars. I took my ps3 to have the blue ray lense replaced. Took them two weeks to fix it. I left a copy of call of duty mw3 in the console. Prior to my console leaving E Gadget Fix, I asked for them to get my game out of the console. They lied and said that my game was not in it. I left and went back a few days later to ask a manager. They still lied. I proceeded to get assertive with them. Eventually and reluctantly they brought out a copy of the game and said it was a store copy that they used for «testing». Once again they were lying. It was my copy of the game. I knew this because it had a distinctive scratch and marking on the label. I know this because I was pissed off when I scratched it. Never go to E Gadget Thieves and liars. Oh yeah one more thing. The blue ray lense they took two weeks to replace, stopped working a few weeks later. That indicates they probably just gave me a used lense. If I could give negative 5 stars I would. I am sure these losers pick and choose who they provide good service to. Arrogant pieces of trash.

Great guys. Really know what they’re doing. I came in because my phone was having problems charging. They fixed it quick and solved my problems. If you have problems with your phone or anything, bring it to Gadget Fix.

This place is a great place to get your iPhones fixed at. The staff is so nice and helpful. I took in my iPhone because my lock button was broken and now it works great! We had read online reviews on this place before hand and glad my husband and I found this place. It’s good to know there is good business places like this to go to :)

I broke the screen on my phone twice within the same week and E Gadget fixed it right away. Their service was fast and very friendly. After the second time I got my phone fixed my speaker stopped working. I took it in and they fixed it for free because you also receive a 6 month warranty which was reassuring. I appreciate that they don’t make you feel silly and are there to help. I will definitely make this the place for all of my future gadget fix-​ups!

LG3 broken screen on my daughter’s phone. Gadget Fix told my son and daughter it would take 3 days to fix it. Great! My sonand daughter went back in after 3 days. The young man stated the screen was fixed and proceeded to hand it back to them. Half true! Good news, bad news! Yes, the screen was fixed but below the screen were 3 new green lines. My son kindly refused to receive the supposed fixed phone. They said they would need 3 more days to order a new part and fix the new problem. This time I went in with my daughter a little miffed about Gadget Fix’s unsatisfactory performance but if they get it fixed no harm, no foul, get the phone, give them 3 stars and call it a day. But this is not how things preceded. A young man offers me the hopefully, finger scrossed supposed, fixed phone. So a little I’m leary now I turn the LG3 phone on and it lights up. Cool. It’s fixed! But as I proceed to the next page it freezes up. I show the young man and he says it worked an hour ago so it should now but alas it doesn’t. He says well I can refund you the price for the part but not the labor. He says I don’t even know about the LG3. I tell him this is so unprofessional. I’m speechless. He takes it to the back because he is lost now. Another young man appears pretty much telling me they tried everything, it was working, we ordered 3 parts, we will give you a partial refund. I’m not happy. The 2^nd man goes to help another customer. I never yelled or raised my voice. I just stated this is so unprofessional so the other customers would hear. I got his attention again and he came over. I said I need the phone fixed. That’s my goal. I’ve paid you guys $ 146 for nothing? Then he says the owner could look at it when he gets back in after Thanksgiving. So now? Why are we waiting until now? It’s been over a week. I’m frustrated. Then I notice Christian music playing on the radio station in the background. Hmmmm. Is this owner a Christian? I hope he can fix this because so far I’m getting the run around. So I just called and asked about the phone. They said the phone wasn’t charged so they needed to charge it to check it out. Are you kidding me? I will post this with the hopes that our terrible experience on Unilocal may convince someone at Gadget Fix to finally help us. Then I can fix it.
OK. Update. So I went in to pick up the LG3 phone and it was working AND David refunded our money because it took too long. We are happy with this! Thank you Gadget Fix for taking care of this. Amazing!

I’ve brought my I-​phone 4S here twice to have the screen replaced as the infamous I-​phone screen is the flimsiest piece of glass ever created. (Yes, I still have an I-​phone 4S… I hate paying for phones and constantly throw fits like a little girl whenever I have to get a new one or get it foxed!) Ugh! I’m so clumsy and I constantly drop my phone… the case goes flying and boom cracked screen. I like this place. They are nice and don’t make me feel like a total looser lame-​o for always breaking my phone. They work fast and get the job done… obvi I came back. That’s for fixing my phone guys. :)

I have an iPhone 5c that got ran over by a truck and had some issues. Take it from me, even if you are technically adept anything past a screen replacement in these phones requires a lot more know how than the average person. These guys did a great job at a reasonable price and with next day service (I brought it in later in the day). I had a warranty issue about a month after the repair that was due to a part failure (not workmanship) but it was taken care of quickly and at no charge. I’m sure I’ll break another phone and when I do I know where to take it.

Staff is friendly and their prices are extremely competitive to all the other repair shops around Bakersfield. I would recommend taking any of your tablet, cell-​phones, or gaming consoles to them no matter what the issue is. The staff has a very large knowledge about repairing electronics and will help you out no matter what is going on with you device. If I could give this place more than five stars I would.

I went with E gadget fix because they had my screen in stock when the other place didn’t. John helped me, was very friendly and personable, and I got my phone screen fixed while I did some shopping. I even got 20% off my case and $ 10 off my repair for checking in on Unilocal.I would recommend this place.

Andrew saved the day for me today. Patiently he walked me through getting the new I phone 6 synced to I cloud so I could get the darn thing up and running before I leave for overseas travel. Thank you Andrew. I have been to this place of business twice and have had excellent service. This will be my go to place for e gadgets from now on.

Quick, friendly and great pricing! Highly reccomened to anyone needing cellphone repair. Staff member Jesse was very knowledgeable and friendly. Brought him my destroyed iPhone and he fixed it in no time. Hopefully I never need cellphone repair in the future. But if I do, I have no doubt as to were I will go. Cant thank this place enough. A+ in my book.

Edit: I plug in my pay and it immediately ate my game and wouldn’t spit it out. Not to mention, it still won’t read the game. Until they correct the problem, they get a 0 star, in my eyes.
