Finish Line Bicycles

Honest and professional service every time I go to Finish Line. The staff is personal and honest, and when you invest in their products that makes all the difference. I visited their store multiple times and they are my «Go-​to» for cycling products. Even when they don’t have to do things they set aside policy to ensure a customers satisfaction and work very hard to create and obtain a «Win Win» experience. Thank you finish line staff for another pleasant experience. Highly recommend them over all other cycling businesses in town!

Brought my fixie here to get my Kryptolok Series 2 attachment fixed onto the frame. Service was quick and friendly, I’ll definitely take my bike back here for future repairs/​service!

Best bike shop in town! Used them all at one time or another. He has an air tank behind his store next to the bike path with free air… That’s awesome! Allen and his crew are outstanding!!!

Despite getting my bike at Action Sports, I do believe that Finish Line could be considered to be my LBS («local bicycle shop»).
I initially came here because I needed a singular part replaced on my bike. Amazon sold it for a minute fee, but I figured I might as well visit this place because I had never been before. Mitch was able to provide me with that part, and I decided to push it a bit further and make a larger purchase here.
As I reiterate constantly, the learning curve for cycling is not in the sport itself but the equipment: Anyone can jump on a bike and pedal but it takes quiet a bit of education to make an informed decision on actually buying a bike. That being said, I wanted to go clipless (cycling shoes). My research involved scouring the net for information about what I’d need, budget/​costs/​investment, and overall quality. I managed to narrow down what I needed (road bike shoes, new pedals, cleat attachment). I went to Finish Line’s web site and picked out the pedals and shoes that would best fit me, compared the prices to Amazon (and other online retailers), and went in to the store with a list in hand. In less than 5 minutes, I had my shoes and clips; installation of the pedals took a negligible amount of time (less than 10 minutes?); and overall, I am happy with my experience there.
However, I do not know how it would have been had I walked in and said, «Hey, I am thinking of buying cycling shoes, where do I begin?» Once again, I believe that this question would produce an exhaustive answer and the retail environment does not allot for that time.
Customer service here is great — staff is knowledgeable, they are dedicated to only one sport, the employees are held accountable by management. The bike maintenance seems timely and quick; however, I haven’t had any major overhauls. The selection of gear and bikes is plentiful. They carry Felt, Giant, Colanga, Pure Fixie, and a few other brands. Worth noting is that Colanga sources from Giant, so in many ways they are of the same manufacturer. I’d recommend this place if you want a more mature feel than Action Sports; but as stated, my experience with them is probably much more superficial than what would warrant a more detailed review.

I took my 10 year old proprietary brand bike in for service. I had taken the bike into another company several times and the bike was getting worse and worse. Honestly I thought the bike was done for and I was going to have to get a new one.
The crew at Finish Line tuned, cleaned and put on a new chain in less than a day. When I picked the bike up it looked almost new. (Which is saying something. I’m rather hard on my bike.)
I went out to the parking lot and took the bike for a spin. I was amazed. It rode like it did when I first bought the bike. Well done!
This is my new favorite place and I won’t be taking my bike or bike business any where else.

We have purchased several bikes from Finish Line. The guys are knowledgeable and friendly. The selection and quality of bikes and accessories are great. I wouldn’t take my bikes anywhere else to be serviced. Have no idea what other reviews are talking about with slow service. It has been incredibly fast for us.

First of all, I love the bicycle I got at finish line. I think the giant brand is great. I have a women’s cypress. It is the perfect «hybrid» that fits all my needs.
My husband and I came here and ordered my bicycle more than a week before my birthday. It was supposed to be my birthday present. They did not have one in stock… which was a bummer… Why wouldn’t they have at least one in stock? They said it would be delivered and ready to pick up on my birthday. On my birthday, I hadn’t heard from them, so I called. They then told me that it needed to be ordered and that it would be there the NEXT week. A few days later, I called again. It was there, but they hadn’t put it together yet. They said it would be ready to pick up the next day. The next day, they literally called me and told me it was ready 10 minutes before they close. The person I picked it up from have me attitude when I told him I would need help loading it into my car.
I will not be back to finish line to have service done on this bike.

Update on prior review: Nothing has changed a week later. Finish line still has the bike. Called them this morning and the guy who builds bikes is not in so they don’t know status of bike. How can they not know what’s going on with my husband’s bike. You saying not one person in this business knows. We have been down there several times in last week with being told still waiting on frame and demanding proof or answers with the owner just standing there not saying a word. Demanded bike by end of day today or money back. 4 weeks of this is enough with not one call from them with an update and us going there. We are the ones that have to call them to get an update with no answers. Absolutely ridiculous!!! Will never shop at this place again. Action sports will have our business from now on since that’s where I purchased my bike from and they obviously know what AWESOME customer service is.

My bike day would’ve been ruined if it wasn’t for Finish Line and the employees who were so kind and helpful! Garry took no longer than 3 minutes to help me fix my breaks and the gentleman at the register helped me install my cup holder. I am very pleased with the service and I will be back. Thank you, Finish Line!

I just happened to be on a bike ride and went in to see about getting my handle bars raised. I was sent to the back to see Gary. He immediately said that my bike wasn’t safe. Apparently my handle bars were put on wrong. So he put it on the rack and corrected the issue, along with a few other adjustments. I am so grateful I happened to stop by. I will definitely return for future needs.

no refunds allowed. only exchanges. even with unopened product and receipt. what a joke. bought two accessories, a saddle and a more ergonomic grip handles. accidentally bought grip shift handles instead of rapid fire type. owner knew I was’nt sure because I told him. brain fart on my part (I own a trike, a recumbent and two mountain bikes)

I’ve been here twice for repairs. Customer service sucks. They might very well be bike ninja warrior experts but I won’t be back for ANY purchase large or small!

I only needed to pick up a couple of things for my bike. Not only was the owner sarcastic and rude, he offered very little assistance. No choices were given for available product selection. No information provided regarding installation in spite of my making it clear I was not experienced with bike maintenance. I went to Action Sports they were very friendly and helpful.

These guys ordered a bike for me in size «XL» from LA and said it would arrive in 2 – 3 days. Then they changed to «its coming from Chicago» and the wait time will be 1 week. After a week they called and said they were going to sell me the blue bike on the floor, and before they put my accessories on (that I purchased from them), they were wanting to «check real quick» that I was ok with this navy blue one (hideous). I asked what happend to the white one I left a deposit for… …it was back ordered and wouldn’t be in for 1.5 months. He then proceeded to try and sell me on the blue bike… that «this blue one is cooler… a lot cooler than the white you had ordered.» (I care what his thoughts are… cause he’s the one riding it)
I told him I might want to order the next model down and that it also came in white… and what might be the wait time for that? «Oh, its hard to say… about a month also»
I called back later and spoke to someone else, and asked if I decided to wait for the white one, exactly how long would it be. He said «a week.»
He then goes on that, «yeah, you were the one that had the bike come in in the wrong color, huh?» I told him «I was told it was back ordered.» He said «yeah that was a misunderstanding.» Well, thats a hell of a difference! Sounds like the factory sent something out!
Basically the guy earlier in the day lied to me… saying it was on back order, then tried to sell me the one that they screwed up and ordered.
Furthermore when I was in there on day one, I saw the kid filling out the paperwork incorrectly putting «blue/​white» meaning: blue bike, white accents. I checked with him, «the one coming in will be white right?» He confirms, «oh yeah.»
Its ridiculous that they fill out the order form wrong, and then put the blame on the supplier.
When people can get this crap cheaper online, but they decide to throw the local community a bone, dont make them sorry by screwing things up and then flat out lieing about it!
I would have cancelled the order, because these people dont deserve my business (on a $ 2,000 purchase)!, but i dont have time to drive to another town and order from another Giant dealer the item I want.
The only reason I didnt give them 1 star is because their service is pretty decent when deciding to pick something out. They are helpful.
I just dont like that they want me to deal with their screw up. Zero apologies, zero responsibilty on their part.
Let it be known when I asked for a discount for the 2^nd week of waiting, they did reluctantly give one

Super high quality merchandise and a knowledgable staff

I bought my first road bike from the owner. He told me the bike came n large medium and small. I tried the large and medium. He never tried to fit the bike to me, didn’t offer to adjust the seat or handle bars, and basically seemed as if he didn’t know or care. I should have left, but I took the bike, a Giant OCR, and road it for a year.
Then I went to Action Sports, dropped four grand and got the best bike and service of my life. Sam and Kerry both worked to fit the bike. Kerry swapped some parts, and I get free tuneups for life.

Happen to be in town over the holidays and rented a bike one afternoon. Received great customer service.

I feel for Finish Line being a small, local store they have decent prices. I purchased my bike last year and the price was good and the service was fantastic. I bought several accessions for the bike and they put them on free of charge and in a matter of minutes. You also can’t beat the location! Right off the bike path, how convenient. I agree with the other review by Rick that they could have a faster turn around on repairs or maintenance. A basic tune up took about two days, but I keep in my mind it’s a small, family ran business.
