Meet the Business Owner

Andrew W.

Business Owner

Andrew Waite heads the HDM team. Andrew’s career in film was decided over twenty years ago when he discovered his father’s Sony BMC100 Betamax Camcorder. He could remember marveling at the technology at a very young age, and it wasn’t long afterwards he was recruiting the neighborhood children to star in his short films.

Although a Cinematographer by trade, he is also a skilled Steadicam operator, sound mixer, foley artist, colorist, and editor. Through the many years Andrew has had the opportunity to apply these skills in numerous projects ranging from commercials, television pilots, music videos, documentaries, and feature films.

Andrew Waite is Co-​Owner of Higher Definition Media (HDM) of which he has produced two feature films, Stamped! and Phase Two, with two more films in pre-​production.

When Andrew’s not behind a camera or in the edit bay, he likes to spend time with his wife and two children. Andrew also enjoys traveling and is fluent in Spanish.
