Absolutely awesome customer service. They communicate so well and you always know what’s going on. They even went as far as dropping off a portable AC for us to help us through the day until they could come out to replace the part tomorrow. I was having issues with my home warranty and they helped me get things taken care of in 1 day that a previous business didn’t get done in a week. Thank you Tom & Mike for you hard work of getting us taken care of!

The service call was extremely quick and smooth.
Very courteous and professional. They did not try to sell me anything that I did not need. Told me it was a cheap part and fixed it in 15 minutes. I wouldn’t hesitate to call them back out or refer them to a friend

They replaced the part and within 3 weeks it stop working.

AC went out in June and called these guys for service. My brother use to work on AC units so he kinda of told me what to ask them, he taught it was a capacitor, 30 dollar part. Guy comes check AC unit in 20 min, and tells me its the compressor and recommends a new AC unit 1500 dollars to 2000. Luckly my neighbor who works who is a electrician for the oil fields ask if he could take a look at it, in 10 mins he tells me AC unit checks out fine, goes to his truck pulls out a capacitor 30 dollar part, and AC unit has been running since. Neighbor tells me any honorable AC service guy would at least rule out the capacitor before suggesting that you need a new AC unit. Disappointing guess you cant trust anyone these days. I recommend to look elsewhere for AC repair.

The repair guy came over and did a great job the day before June 24^th. Days like these in Bakersfield get extremely hot and he came promptly and fixed my problem with my air conditioning with speed.
All in all, I would highly recommend this company for fixing your air conditioning needs. Thanks.

Called econo air first they cam out and told me I needed a new system. I originally called power & performance air for another estimate on a new system. When they came out they wanted to verify what the other company diagnosed and found it was a very minor problem and fixed it for about 250 saved me thousands on a system replacement I did not need. I am not the owner for the company nor do I work there, but on here and reading. In response to Belle V., I work for the largest HVAC company in the nation and have been in the business for over 14 years and $ 206 for a wall thermostat is a very fair price. depending on what kind of thermostat you had installed, labor charges + parts will be between $ 200-​$ 400. after reading further I understand that a fuse went out. whether it be a low (24v) fuse or a high voltage (240v) fuse, neither have any relation to a wall thermostat install. seems that you had a rare and unfortunate experience with your system having 2 completely different issues within a short period time. again, this is no fault to power and performance air or any company that may have serviced you system. I can understand this person not happy about something happening to a system within 6 days of having a tech out to your house. but, there are various different parts and pieces to make a hvac system work, drains, electrical, chemicals, motors, switches, fuses, thermostat, duct systems, etc. it does not seem fair to give a negative post based on your experience. for the company charging you only the service charge of 69.95 to come out a second time for a unrelated issue seems nice of the company that serviced your equipment

This is a rip-​off. First service was a week ago (⁸⁄₂₂) for a non-​working thermostat, which they replaced and charged me a whooping total of $ 206.00 and that’s already with a $ 29.95 dollars discount (you would think they used a gold plated thermostat).
Then, less than a week after (⁸⁄₃₀) it started messing up, totally went off so I had to call again for service but since it was a holiday weekend (labor day) no one can come to the house for service unless I’m willing to pay for their on call person to come which again I will be charged for $ 100+ just to do a «diagnostic». So I opted to wait until the following week because I was also told that there wouldn’t be any charges since it is still under warranty.
Next Tuesday came 9÷3÷2013, he technician was supposed to be at the house for service between 12−3pm, but no one came and I wasn’t called or informed by anyone from the office not until hours after the expected service time. The girl that called me said that the technician had a car trouble but would still come to the house and fix it. So finally the technician came, did his «diagnostics» and told my dad that he had to replace the fuse, and that again cost me $ 69.95.
I called and talked to Mike, who I believe is the manager/​owner (verified by their receptionist named Rocio) and complained to him that according to the agreement printed on the invoice, it says there that all materials/​parts/​equipments and labor are warranted for 1 year and service charges are warranted for 30 days from the day of the last service (that was less than 1 week actually and I was still charged), but he said that the charge is for another problem that they fixed and I was already given a good price for the charge. I told him that the warranty agreement is misleading and doesn’t say that charges could still be made depending on the problem, the word «ALL» explains it all, meaning that whatever work they’ll do would be free of charge. The owner said that that’s the charge and he couldn’t help me and even asked if I would rather pay for the labor fee which is $ 20 more.
I also got a call from Rocio (secretary or receptionist) the following day because they had problem with the credit card issued, I told her my exact issues and that I wasn’t satisfied at all but I got the same response from her too. She said that I I was already given a good discount because I was only charged a service charge, and I told her again that the warranty agreement is misleading and totally opposing. I asked for the full name of their manager but said that she can’t tell me that. I still paid for the $ 69.95 because I was just tired of arguing with them and I know that they would charge me anyway. But I told her that that would be the last time that I would call for service since I wasn’t satisfied with the services and customer service both from the staff and the owner was so bad.
So if anyone of you is looking for a company to service your air conditioning unit, think twice or thousand times before contacting this company. TOTALLY A RIP_​OFF WITH BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! I would rather pay for a job that is worth to be paid for than to be misled by a warranty that is only used to attract customers and in the end will end up paying more than what it is worth. So please call other company, look at the reviews, I know we have a lot of honest business owners who are considerate and is there to provide QUALITY SERVICE and not just there to make money.

Great! Great! Bought air conditioner part from them and installed it myself with limited success, they gave me personal expert advise even thought they didn’t have to, very helpful, unlike those big commercial company that just take your money while having there nose in the air at the little guy trying to save money, I installed part, with limited success, called em and they took
my question over phone, didn’t get so I reluctantly had service guy come out, WOW!!! THERE SERVICE IS GREAT! Was expecting business as usual, make a mountain outta mole hill type service, exact opposite, said here’s your problem, misplaced wires, bent fan blade, tighten some things up, only $ 69 service charge.
