Upon moving out Real Property Management did not meet my family’s needs. They kept money a large amount of my deposit for blinds. The house had broken blinds throughout the house when I moved in. I had took pictures but they still said I was responsible. I left the house in better condition then when I moved in and received only half of my deposit back. I was extremely disappointed with their customer service.

We looked for a property manager last August 2014 and found Real Property Mgmt Bakersfield. We are out of state and we needed a good mgmt. company. Rylan was fantastic! He helped us get our Bakersfield home ready to rent. We had renters that we had to evict and he assisted with the clean-up and repairs. I really appreciate the service I received from BreAnna and Amy at Real Property Management when applying to rent a home in our dream neighborhood. After an initial miscommunication, these ladies helped make the application process extremely smooth and we received notification of approval within 24 hours after submitting all necessary paperwork. I was able to send our photo identification cards via email as an attachment, eliminating another trip to the office.
When the time came to make the deposit and sign the lease, Amy had everything ready to sign, explained all the details and I was on my way to work in no time at all.
The level of professionalism at RPM is first rate and I would recommend their services to anyone who is looking to buy, sell or rent.

Not pleased with the overall performance of this company. I do not believe the exit walk through was done because there was damage to my property from the two dogs the tenant had. It appears that the dogs were fenced in on the side of the property and rutted out the ground digging holes, I mean deep holes almost under the foundation. Now the drainage is no where sufficient and there is evidence of mud pools. The back door was filthy from the dogs clawing at it and the weather stripping was torn to shreds. The Gardner that was hired charged for maintaining the landscape but half the back yard grass was dead. And I was billed for water sprinklers several times. There was a bush in the front of my house that was dead and full of disease and no mention was made on it as well. I feel that RMP, all though very nice. Do not do as much as they claim to do. I went today to pick up my keys and opener and Amy did not even come out to give me the keys herself. Base on the way I received my property I could say that the final walk through was just that, a walk through. If even a walk through was ever done. Because an average person could have told you that there were problems that needed to be addressed. Through out the year lease I was not happy with the service from Amy at RMP and at the end was after seeing the condition of my house I can say RMP was a big dud as far as performance. Fell very short of the service they claimed to give.

When my wife & I bought our Bakersfield home two months ago, we never imagined we’d be moving out of state mere months later. Fortunately, RPM saved the day! Rylan came by to see the property & sign docs, and Amy was over within a few days showing our home to prospective tenants. They had our home rented in less time than we had imagined, and achieved a rent hundreds more than we had hoped for. We are now cash flowing our first rental property… simply amazing. After hearing our friends horror stories about doing their own management, I can’t imagine trying to do it ourselves… especially considering the minuscule monthly cost. Thanks RPM!!!
