Nice owner and she is helping me with previous problems… I am greatful for everything she is doing to help me. Giving a 5 star and cant wait to get my nails done by Keri. She has talent.

Both my cousin and I had our hair/​makeup done by Katelyn Henry and I had booked her several months prior since I came from out of town. She came on the weekend even when the salon was suppose to be closed. She was very dependable from the time I booked her. We both looked fab for our boudoir shoot by Dollhouse Boudoir. She was easy to communicate with and super easy to get along with. Katelyn even offered to get a hair product on her day off that she used on me, but I found it on Amazon. What a sweetheart! Thank goodness Katelyn was recommended to me, otherwise I find it hard to find a stylist who could do both hair and makeup in Bakersfield area.
Her foundation was just flawless and light. I didn’t feel like I had layers of crap on my face. If I had more time, I would have tried some hair color by her. Highly recommend her!

Came here to get my hair done with my BFF for a girls day out. We found the salon through Unilocal actually.
Right when we got there the hairdresser was ready for us! A sweet girl named Ashley did my hair and Kaitlyn did my friends.
Both ladies were so nice and funny. Loved them. Easy to talk to and we had a great time there.
We love our new do’s!
Love how the shop is decorated also! Will be coming back soon.

If I could give minus zero stars I would. How does one express their professionalism, by not showing up on a brides wedding day and not even having the decently to call and let her know or have a back up hair stylist to cover her. Then the managers trying to apologize and offer what-nots…there is nothing that could be said or given to take back the amount of added stress katlyn or what ever her unprofessional name is that works at this salon. Anyone who is married who had helped plan a wadding knows that unwanted stress is never welcomed and this hairstylist did just that… she created a frantic moment in time when it could have been avoided with a simple PHONE CALL. I will never forget my friends tears. But I guess things happen for a reason because she looked beautiful anyways regardless of the of unprofessionalism described here.

I absolutely LOVE this salon! Audrey is my hairdresser and she is awesome, I came to this salon after trying so many different places. Every other colorist that gave me a dye job just wouldn’t get it right, but she got DOWN on my weave honey! The owner Lynae was so cool and down to earth with her customers making it feel like a truly awesome environment to get fabulous in! I will and have recommended this place to anybody looking to go to a super cute salon and have a great time. Thank you to Audrey Darling for doing my hair and making me feel so beautiful!

I personally had my hair cut here by a young girl my age and I was moderately pleased with it (not what I asked for but meh.) My family on the other hand loved the décor and my hair, and assumed the service would be as good. Welllll… not so much. Unfortunately, the same girl, who continues to work there, accidentally sheared my relative’s long thick hair into something that resembled a used shag rug. Distraught, but somehow still willing to let another there attempt to fix the mistake, my relative stayed for another two hours. She remained very unhappy. What was most insulting was the original hairstylist’s insistence that she had made no mistake, AND that maybe her client’s hair had been damaged beforehand. Regardless, she comes back, promised they will do her hair gratis until she is happy, but eventually is treated horrifically by the owner and called a «psycho» when caught in a lie involving the owner avoiding my relative’s pleas to at least color her gray. Needless to say, scissor hands will be dealing with a small suit, and probably many more bad reviews, until they rectify the situation and start doing good work. Stay far far away, fellow Unilocalers.

I’m a regular guy that usually goes to barber shops but was told to go to this place by a friend and somehow this salon still makes me feel heterosexual. The people that work there are down to earth and fun. Paige is the tits and recommend her!!! It isn’t over priced and it’s a cool environment. Definitely try this place out and you can even get cookies next door that will make your fat ass feel better.

Love it! The owner Lynae did my hair for years and now my sister Paige is there and does my hair. They are great! Totally recommend!

This salon is so dang cute! Decorated with leopard carpet, black and crème stripes on the wall and accented with fleur de lys!
I went in the first time the other day bc my wonderful manicurist moved salons to here. I am so glad she did! And on that note, you should go see Sam for your gel manicures. She’s awesome! And my manicure stays on around 2.5 weeks and sets me back only $ 30! Such a deal. I also love that she has a lot of colors and is willing to experiment with colors! She tops one color with another and suddenly you are left with a new sparkly, shiny nails in a shade you didn’t even think was possible! This is what happened to me last time I was in. Thanks Sam. And thanks for moving… this place blows your previous salon outta the water. Love your work and this cute salon!
The salon also does hair, massages, and I’ve heard facials soon as well. They sell some great products out front to browse through as well!

I’ve been going to Paige to get my hair done since she started at Scissorhands and I’ve never been disappointed! I’ve had color and cuts done and it’s been perfect every time. I was her first ombré and I love it! I can’t wait to put a different color on the tips! I recommend her to all of my friends and if you want an awesome hairstylist book an appointment with her! :)
