The Workers are always nice here. Never had a problem. The location is different there is no inside to this one just an outside patio which is kind of cool.

This Starbucks location is pretty unique, which offers a drive thru service, but no interior seating. This location has a walk up window and a covered patio with concrete tables. I stopped at this Starbucks location on a hot day and ordered an Iced Caramel Macchiato using a $ 2 Treat Receipt, which was made promptly and correctly. My beverage was sweet and refreshing with an afternoon boost. The baristas here seemed friendly. I was also given a complementary ice water upon request.

Starbucks. They’re pretty much exactly the same in terms of products provided because of the recipes, but the service is what sets all of the locations apart from one another. This Starbucks is in a convenient location which is both good and bad haha. Good because, well, because it’s convenient! ;) Bad because it’s convenient for EVERYONE so it’s quite busy, even with the drive through. Even then, they are very fast and the employees at this location are always friendly, whether early in the morning before work, around lunch time or even after work. The only thing different at this location is that they do not have interior seating. If you park and get off your car to place your order, you have to go to a window and wait outside, which is inconvenient in the rain. They do have a couple of benches/tables out there but not much. Also, the bus stop is right next to this location and with that comes a lot more people. The quality service, convenient location and drive-through at this location help with the abundance of customers and lack of interior seating.

I used to walk to this SB frequently from work. They’ve always been friendly & efficient. I paid a visit today hoping they were one of the few SB that still had Caramel Brûlée mix… nada! But – the young barista told me he would make something similar & would even put the toffee topping. I tried it & it was pretty darn similar! The reason for the lack of the 5th star was that my grande drink was looking more like a tall… and… no toffee toppings like he promised… Aww. Now I’m sad for the rest of the day.

I love the fact that they’re a drive thru mainly. They have a walk-by window, which is also helpful. Parking is kinda difficult though, so it’s definitely geared for the drive thru. The service is pretty quick and they’re all nice, happy workers!

Love Starbucks but not a fan of people begging g for a drink and walking up to your window asking or money. I parked and left without staying. Not worth it.

great service — was there late at night. It was toward the end of the shift on a Saturday night. Bathroom was out of toilet paper — no problem, I asked for a roll to take in there. Had to go again, and someone had stolen the toilet paper. Why do people steal toilet paper? In any case, staff was very friendly.

This is a drive through and walk up Starbucks. They have a bathroom but they keep loosing the key so I don’t think they hand it out. We are on our way from Vegas to Fresno and was looking for Peetes Coffee.(We could not find Peetes– we think it’s in the hospital).

I really want to like this Starbucks but I just can’t. Every time I come they are out of something and there’s a big sign plastered on the speaker with what they are out of. A managers need to taught better ordering procedures at this store. Because whoever it is… Isn’t doing it right. Out of the stuff to make birthday cake frapps a few months ago… Come back today and they are out of caramel… Pshhhh… Don’t come here when BHS gets out of school… You’ll be here a LONG time. Starbucks, 2 stars!

Love this Starbucks it’s actually the one a probably visit the most, my drink is always delicious, perfect I would say! I love the drive thru but hate it in mornings when I’m running to work usually it’s busy and cars go in thru California and Chester and your just trying to get figure who was here first and is that car going to let me in!!! My drink never disappoints just have to go early, to wait.

I love this Starbucks and I visit it pretty often. Most of the staff are really awesome, and I almost never have an issue with my order. The only two issues are the parking lot and the bees. There has to be a beehive somewhere on the building because there are tons of bees hanging around the windows throughout the day. The parking lot is a nightmare too. If you do manage to get a space, you have to wait forever to back out because the drive thru line goes between the spaces and out onto Chester. I actually had to skip that location this morning because the line was nearly out into the intersection. They remodeled the inside a few months ago and I thought maybe they were doing something about the drive thru situation, but nope.

I wanted a quick caffeine fix, so decided to pull through this drive thru. Placed my order and they were sold out… of the first 3 options I tried to order. Okay, I understand that this happens, but three common menu items? Then the wait was nearly 10 minutes(only 3 vehicles in front of me)… Which seems really strange, because their stock is obviously limited and this is only a drive thru(there is no indoor seating/service area). What’s going on in there? Finally, when I got my order, it was actually someone else’s drink. They eventually did get me the correct one. Then I opened my bag for the Lemon Pound Cake I also ordered… and it was still in the packaging! I’m hoping this was just an off day for them, but it was kinda surprising, because of the high customer service standards that I’m normally familiar with at Starbucks. At least they were very friendly.

This Starbucks is horrible! The drive thru blocks all of the parking spaces so either way you are waiting for the drive thru. The staff is really young, which is fine but they are always busy goofing off. About every other time the wait is absurd and every third time they jack my order.

Let me preface this review by saying I am a FREQUENT Starbucks customer. I travel for work about 75% of the time and have visited Starbucks all across the country, and this ranks as one of my worst experiences in customer service I’ve ever had. I show up at 8am only to find the entire parking lot is blocked by cars waiting in the drive up. There is exactly one spot accessible to use. –1 star. I then walk up to the walk up ordering window only to be accosted by hornets. HORNETS. As in bees. As in insects that sting. As in something I avoid at all costs. Yes, some people may find this to be irrational but everyone has something that terrifies them, and for me it is bees. –1star. I suck it up and order my coffee. It is, afterall, a Starbucks and I need my fix. I ask for a receipt for my expense report only to hear«oh sorry our printer is broken». –1 star. Finally my pastry and venti quad iced skinny caramel macchiatto is ready and I walk up to grab them and the hornets are actually ON my drink and pastry bag. I figure this HAS to be a joke right!!! I can’t imagine that the Starbucks corporate headquarters is totes cool with a freaking infestation of bees crawling on our food and drinks. Absolutely disgusting. I try and walk up to the window but am so freaked out by the bees all over my order, I froze and actually proceeded to apologize for being so scared. The barista’s response? «Well what do you want me to do about it?» Ummmmm I’m sorry!!! Am I seriously expected to swim through a swarm of bees? Is this chick for real!!! And I’m the only person who has ever had a problem with the way this location is being managed??? Yeah right. –1 star. Listen, if you’re ok working in some hornet wonderland all day, cool. But this is completely unlike Starbucks to allow not only this poor customer service, but also the insect issue that appears to be a year round issue. Starbucks is knows for it’s awesome customer experience, nice clean stores, and it’s consistency. This place falls way far short of this mark.

This Starbucks location is mainly a drive thru but there is outside shaded seating. The menu is standard with lattes, Macchiatos, frappucinos, etc. I got in line in my car at the drive thru at noon on a workday(Friday). It took 2 minutes(I timed it) for my car to roll up to the intercom to order. 105 degree Bakersfield is no joke. A/C in the car is the only way to go, but I did see 5 customers on foot waiting to order at the window. At the intercom, the lady taking orders confirmed my semi complicated order(I was bringing 4 different drinks back for people I work with and one wanted soy milk in her macchiato and the other wanted extra caramel sauce). She took the order and repeated it back seamlessly. About 4 minutes later, my car moved from the intercom to the register window. All the drinks were clearly labeled with individual stickers. They were given to me in a sturdy carrier with the green stoppers in each drink. I paid with 2 gift cards(I didn’t know one card only had $ 1.50 on it!), and that went smoothly as well. Btw, the same lady who took the orders was communicating with me while holding a convo with someone else. She didn’t miss a beat. I was impressed!

This Starbucks is located in central Bako so not too close to home or work for me, but when I’m in the neighborhood, I try to stop by and get my java fix. It’s not an average looking Starbucks — It’s mainly a drive-thru with a walk-in window on the side. There’s outdoor seating for you to relax and wifi is free, so not complaining. It’s just not in the greatest part of town to be posting my laptop out for everyone to see. Best if you just sat in your car, that way if creepers come by, the doors can always be locked. It defeats the purpose, but better safe than sorry, right? I’ve been to both the drive-thru and the walk-in window and don’t really have anything bad to say about this place. The service is so-so, sometimes you get your coffee in 5 mins and then there are times, like today, when the drive-thru took about 15 mins. Time is of the essence if you’re trying to get a cup of joe before work, so plan accordingly; it’s Starbucks roulette. The baristas are friendly, the coffee is always made right, and at least the drive-thru moves at a steady pace unlike the other drive-thrus in town(cough* Ashe cough*). Overall, not a bad experience. Will definitely check-in again.

It’s after 5pm in downtown, everyone is headed home from work. The drive-thru had one car and then me, yet it somehow managed to take 10 minutes. And in those 10 minutes they still managed to turn a Grande iced coffee with cream, vanilla and toffee nut, into a tall iced coffee breve with vanilla. Seriously? I mean, seriously?

LOVE this Starbucks. I’ve used it multiple times and every time, service was quick and prompt and polite and accurate. Perfect for gassing up the caffeine tank before the long drive back to L.A. Today, I tried the new Caramel Flan Latte. Sweet with a slightly mysterious burnt taste that was actually quite good.

This is a quirky little Starbucks. There is no interior dining area in which to sit and hang out, but there is a drive through window on one side and a walk up window on the other. There are five tables outside under a latticework shade on the walk up side, and they do have free wifi even though you’ll have to sit outside or in your car to use it. The drive through had our drinks ready quickly and the people inside were very friendly, talking and laughing amongst themselves while still providing excellent and speedy service. We felt a part of the shared humor rather than being left out. Mom ordered a Strawberries & Cream Frappuccino and I had a lime refresher and they were both quite tasty. Mom was so impressed with how pretty her drink was she insisted I photograph it. Quick friendly service with Starbucks drinks made expertly. And with Bakersfield weather, the shaded outside seating area makes sense for much of the year.
