This review is a long time coming. We have found and used Toro Air since February 2015. Having a Property Managment division we have relied upon Jesse and Jose of Toro Air. These guys are remarkable!
They show up presentable and dressed in their company uniforms, drive a company vehicle with clear markings of their logo, name, telephone number and license information. They have serviced air conditioning units, new and old, heating units in walls, floor or attic. Plus they invoice properly and give a written guarantee for all their work. We don’t have to call them back to fix the same problem twice because they fix it right the first time.
We used Unilocal to find them and it worked! 2 other companies all found in Unilocal came to bid on first time project and boy were the prices staggering. We went with Toro Air, used their services, went by the recommendations and have been happy ever since.

Amazing experience. 5pm AC started blowing hot air and realized the fan stopped working. Found Toroair and called right away, got the voicemail but the owner Jesse called me within the hour and made us his last (next) stop of the night. Arrived in the time frame he gave me and was super nice. He also fixed the problem at a reasonable rate and showed us a few things to help maintain our system. Overall amazing service and we will always use ToroAir. Customers for life.

I called Toro after my AC unit broke and after the guy I had booked to come out and fix it bailed on me. I’m 9 months pregnant and it’s supposed to get to 104 today. I call Toro she says she can get me in today, oh, but never mind, they’re not insured to work on second story ac units. What? Every house I have ever lived in the unit was on the roof. It seems like a big part of the job to be able to work on all units, on the roof or not.

I highly recommend Jesse to handle any AC repairs you may need. They were quick to respond to our phone message and they arrived within one hour. Fixed our problem within 30 minutes and their fees are fair. Thank you again for providing excellent service!

When I first called after 3 o’clock in the afternoon, the woman who answered the phone said that they would not be able to come out until the next day in the afternoon. I explained to her that there were old people living in the home and they needed the air conditioning to work now she put me on hold and said she would be right back with me, after she came back on the line she said she spoke with her boss and said they would be out within the hour. Prior to calling Toro, I had actually called three other companies and explained the same dilemma to them also, they were not able to accommodate me. I was so glad that I found Toro on Unilocal since our air-​conditioning unit has been repaired it’s been working perfectly. I’m so thankful this company had the heart to listen to my situation and were able to accommodate us I would definitely call back again if I ever needed additional work.

Great experience! I was fortunate in that my AC was working but it seemed to be running too long. Decided I needed a service since it had been a few years. I’m so glad I consulted Unilocal for a reference! Jesse came out and almost immediately upon entering the house he could hear the air blowing out in a forced way. He looked at my filter and gave me the lowdown on filter replacement (I was a little filter ignorant). After checking all the connections, motor stuff and cooling goop he said I was fine and didn’t need a thing except regular air filter changing! Thanks Toro for putting my mind to rest and making my hot Bakersfield summer a little cooler!!!

I used Jesse last year and he was great. When I really needed him this year didn’t call me back and ignored all my texts. When its hot and your air goes out you need someone fast. NOT TO BE IGNORED!!!

June Friday noon, 103 out, and Toro was the only company of 4 called to respond and come within 2h. I wasn’t even able to be home and upon finishing they called and explained what they’d done. Paid for it over the phone. Really, it couldn’t be easier. Only reason they got 4 stars is because of the price, which seemed a little high to me ($ 90 service call+work done). But I couldn’t bear the service. Will use them again.

Can’t say enough about these guys. They were able to come out same day and diagnose my issue and Jesse was very up front on what needed to be done and how much it would cost. There were no gimmicks and price hikes after the fact. Very pleased with the service and WILL use them again.

I highly recommend him. I called in for service and inspection. Jesse was honest and curtious. He didn’t try to sell me parts or service I didn’t need, and gave me a good explanation of how to care for my system.

Very professional and courteous. Jesse takes pride in his work and he is focused on pleasing his customers. He was very understanding about our need for our AC to be working at its best since we had an infant in the house. He kept his word about his warranty on everything he touches and even offered to come by to work on our unit very, very late at night. Very fair priced!

I had been having issue with my heater and I found Toro right here on Unilocal.Jesse answered right away and he was able to come out the same day. He took his time to explain everything. In no time, my heater was working. We plan to have our AC unit serviced in time for the summer months. Well A/​C died Sunday. Went right to Unilocal.Saw Hawley’s A/​C. He was’nt able to come till Tuesday. Not good for its Bakersfields Hot weather. Then saw Toro’s A/​C reviews. Everyone gave 5 stars. I read each review carefully. All sounded genuine. Really liked what was said about Jesse’s skill set. His clear diagnostic explaination. Honesty. Work Ethic. Jesse’s a great guy.
I gave the man like 6 filtered glasses of iced zerowater.
The condensor fan was locked. He spun it and A/​C came on. Bearings not too good. He recommended replacement. Heck. A dishonest service man would have rip our family off for a $grand$, fan motor, plus, plus. Unilocal reviews, all 5 stars, was spot on. Jesse then checked the forced heating unit and other elements of the A/​C. Taught me lot about what to watch out for, maintiance etc. Stuff like feeling what pipes to know if I need $$$ expensive freon, etc. So not to be ever rip off. He had to spend hour time to pickup a compatable motor fan. He wanted a good Brand, long guarantee. Our A/​C dates back to 1980’s. 3.5 hours from start our A/​C works like a charm. I talked to Jesse about his background. WOW. He worked at all levels of repair. Was repair manager of a huge, huge crew. Worked on some of the biggest corporate places and projects. Graduated from the top Tech School. Like 25 years experience. I would recommend Jesse for reliability, honesty, and high level skillset.
Oh yes I googled for reviews of Jesse and Toro’s A/​C. 5 star reviews too. Forget about finding Jesse on White or Yellow pages. My early concern. Words of Mough keeps Toro’s A/​C very busy. He doe’s have a very nice website with special features.

Highly recommend TORO Air conditioning. Im currently on the process of moving to a ranch home that has been vacant for a year so yes AC hasn’t been maintain or turn on since then. I also had notice that when I would turn the AC unit wasn’t cooling no more than 90 degrees after leaving it on for 3hrs. So I knew it needed to be check out. Not only did Jesse the owner showed up ay my door step with a great smile but he did an excellent job within 20 min he had me running and my AC was cooling at 61 degrees. Oh I was sooooo happy. Jesse definitely knows what he’s doing performs work in a timely manner. And is very fair in price I will pay him 10k time to get his services anytime…

Came home from work day before yesterday to find that it was 86 degrees in my home with the thermostat set to 75 degrees.
Called multiple AC services in town who apparently have ALL of the business they care to take on during this season. (Shocker!) Even had one tell me I’d here back from a technician in «15−20 mins», when I didn’t hear back in an hour I returned the call only to receive an answering service stating the business was now closed. REALLY?! :(
Jesse was the only provider able to follow through with an evening appointment the same day! His dedication to keeping me informed is commendable. Naturally, when one is sitting in a sauna with bedtime around the corner and work again the next day, being kept informed is GOLDEN!
Jesse was adept at troubleshooting my issue! Provided me with timely estimates and made our decision making process smooth and easy. His promise and skill are apparent in the way he handles business and in the way he gaurantees his work!
