I actually live in Dallas, Texas, and spend my Saturday trying on wedding dresses here. I wandered into neiman’s (still in Dallas) with my mom and soon-​to-​be mother in law and found a gorgeous Marchesa dress on sale for $ 600 off! It was perfect, but it wasn’t my size. The Bal Harbour Neiman’s was the only store in the country who had my size, so my sales associate, Beth, called and called and called trying to reach someone in dresses. After two hours of waiting around and not hearing back, we left the store hoping to receive a call from Beth.
Finally I ran out of patience and called them myself. I was pushed from department to department too, never getting anyone in dresses. Finally a lingerie salesperson took it upon herself to locate the dress. She finally did so I started to walk back into the Dallas Neiman’s to let them do the transaction over the iPhone. She refused to speak to Beth because she wanted the commission. For fear of losing the dress I went ahead and purchased it over the phone myself.
Within 5 minutes of buying the dress I got a call from Beth saying the the Bal Harbour associate had called and told her the dress was sold out! I went ahead and told her the entire story about how «yeah the dress is sold out because they just sold it to me over the phone.» She was livid, and for good reason. I’m hoping I can work something out with my local store for Beth’s sake because that sale belongs to her. Beth in Dallas was amazing and so sweet the entire time.
I’m still appalled at the horrible customer service and selfishness of the Bal Harbour Neiman Marcus and its employees. I’ve been thinking of moving to south Florida, and if I do I will avoid this neiman’s like the plague.

My mom lives close to Bal Harbour Shops, and it’s fun to go there with her. We don’t usually buy much because mom says she has more stuff then she can use, but she enjoys looking around.
When you walk into Neiman Marcus you know you’re in an upscale store. The merchandise is perfectly laid out, no mess, no clutter. The staff is friendly and helpful. The prices high, way high. I saw a cute jacket that looked great on me, but the $ 7500 price tag was more then I wanted to spend for a jacket. A car maybe, but not a jacket. I watch for their sales, and sometimes I find something I like. I’ve also found some great stuff on their web page.

Best Neiman Marcus in WORLD. I have a sales clerk there, Jenna, that follows up on my orders & makes sure all my returns are handled quickly and easily. She is most professional and service oriented gal and really makes my shopping experience enjoyable!

Had a horrible experience I never wish to replicate. I went in to return a Creed cologne and the lady I approached was very friendly trying to sell me on another fragrance, when I mentioned that I wanted to return a cologne because of the lack of longevity she immediately turned around and engaged in conversation with a new customer. I felt disrespected but continued to share my concern with another lady behind the counter (gray short haired heavy set). I told her the cologne lasts only half hour and I wanted to know if maybe their was a bad batch (very popular on Creed colognes, I looked it up). She was very rude saying that I was inventing something when I was trying to share my findings on the weak cologne and the reasons I found on many forums, she didn’t want to engage in that conversation. Surely I would think the women behind the counter know what they’re selling and are knowledgeable enough to speak to it’s rumors of different batches. I was wrong, I was so upset with how dismissive they were that I returned the cologne.
At the end of the day they’re job is to sell, not to assist you in a concern about a product you bought. Which reminds me, the sales associates are overwhelming in the fragrance section, they fight one another for customers.
I frequent Bal Harbour because of the relaxed atmosphere and cuisine, but I haven’t returned to Neimans. Nothing was ever done to correct the situation, and frankly they must not have looked up my shopping record because it’s very large. But again, what is 1 less customer for Neimans Bal Harbour?

This is by far the best branch I’ve been to in America! They always have amazing events for cardholders and the hottest new items from any amazing designer always available. Ask for Juliana at the perfume stations she can sell you the whole store! The girl got taste! Plus she always gives me and my friends all kinds of awesome freebies with our purchases! Shopping there is always a pleasure with her! I can’t wait until their next event! Shop on sisters! ;)

I am a big Neiman Marcus fan nationally. I use to be heavy on Bloomy’s and keep creepy with NM now I don’t cheat any more at least not how was NM is now my main and Bloomingdales is my I get back at you or if I need home ware stuff kind of relationship now. This Neiman Marcus store is not as good as many others I have visited but still head and should above the rest of the department stores in the area. Their customer service very rarely ever fails. And don’t forget to try their restaurant too — you would be happily surprised!

I strolled in today wearing sweatpants, no makeup and not one person acknowledged me, but no one ever does! Not even my $ 2000 bag could turn any heads. Finally after I had 5 items in my hand, the sales lady asked me if I needed a fitting room. She never came to check on me and didn’t offer any other items. I would have bought a lot more had she been able to sell me something! Salespeople are too pretentious here. I’ll be shopping online from now on.

This is a beautiful store with high quality merchandise. Every employee that I encountered during my shopping experience was friendly and helpful
