The only reason I can think of they are still in business is they have a monopoly on these outlying areas that aren’t serviced by the big guys. We were lied to about how many HD channels we get at what cost. Damaged my property by cutting my directv coax. Talked to multiple people who act like they are going to help but do nothing but spout the same company line.

I am not sure if this is the office that serves the Melissa area but it is the closest office I see listed. First let me say the Suddenlink people are very nice. After that things go down hill. Let me list a few problems: 1. Internet service was intermittent in both speed and connection reliability. We are paying for 50MB service and we get that occasionally. 2. Sundays seem to be a problem for suddenlink. Internet speeds slowed to a crawl. They seem to have fixed this problem with system upgrades. 3. The system upgrades changed our wireless router information. Our SSID was replaced and about half of our WiFi devices will no longer connect. Their call center tech support could not fix the problem and suggested I call for an IT expert to resolve it at our expense. What? You create a problem that you admit caused my issues and you want me to pay several hundred dollars to have an IT technician come out and reconfigure our system. 4. Since my PC and printer were no longer able to talk to each other because of the changes Suddenlink made to our network, I decided to relax on Father’s Day and watch the US Open Golf Tournament. Everything was great until Suddenlink lost service on NBC about an hour before the finish. Thanks for that! 5. We decided to eliminate a couple of premium channels from our service. Pretty easy stuff except the customer service person sent instructions to discontinue and shut off our entire service. It took 24 hours of begging and pleading to get our account back in order. If you look at my reviews you will see I do not have many 1 star write ups. That is because I try to be honest and give a business a fair chance to make me happy for the money I trade with them. I have been with Suddenlink since January and it is just one problem after another. I have had good service from TWC and Dish Network and Verizon FiOS. In a few weeks we are moving to a new home that has FiOS and I am really looking forward to leaving Suddenlink behind. We moved to Melissa from CA and we were looking for the best internet speed since we work from home. That narrowed it down to Suddenlink. It is just frustrating to not have choices to meet our needs. If I did not need the high speed I would have gone with AT&T. I will finish by saying that, when everything is working it works well. Just too much drama with it being unreliable.

It’s better than no internet, we had AT&T for our ISP before and it was okay but too expensive now we have suddenlink and the speed is the same but with a smaller bill.

Suddenlink has incorrectly billed me. When I tried to correct the situation I was transferred from Collections to Billings. Then back to Collections. They took my number and said they would return my call. An hour later no call back. I called again only to have them try and transfer me again to Billings. I asked for a supervisor where I was place on hold for almost two hours. I am not happy with Suddenlink!!! Worst customer service!
