Went in today to do something different with my hair I have had dark hair all of my life now I’m going blonde and who better to make this change with Lauren she does amazing work. I recommend her talent all day! Thanks Lauren i love my hair can’t wait to see again in 6 weeks

Lauren and David are so talented. They do an amazing job and always have the clients best interest in mind. I’ve been red, black, brown, blonde, and my newest adventure lavender all this to say they have never compromised the integrity of my hair. I go with Lauren as often as my schedule permits, shes the only person I’ve let touch my hair for the past 2 years. She just knows how to make a dude look classy.

I dropped in last minute to get a trim and was lucky enough to get Lauren to do my hair. It was my first time here and I trusted Unilocal that this place was as good as it seemed. Lauren studied my hair really well before she even began to wash it, so I was comfortable going to her for the first time to cut it. She did and amazing job and am definitely going back to her. Nothing but good vibes in the salon.

I found this spot a few weeks ago when I was looking for a blowout. I was so pleased with the stylist, Lauren, and the results. My hair looked great! I came back today for a haircut and my hair looks and feels fantastic! Lauren did a great job with my hair adding body and style to what was a dried up mess of split ends. The place is small but very pleasant, located on a quiet side-​street just off of Ramona Blvd. I would highly recommend Lauren and Salon David E. Thanks guys!

Came in here to get something new… My hair was so faded and dead. I had Itzel help me out, and OMG, she did such an AMAZING job! My hair looks completely different and I’m so happy with the results.
My hair lady moved out to a further salon, so I had to find someone new. And I’m so happy I came to David E. Itzel is my new go-​to hair girl!

Love Salon David E! I have fallowed David for over 8 years now. I get a little color happy and change hair colors quite frequent. He always seems to nail the look I am going for. Recently Lauren has been coloring and styling my hair and I must say I am very impressed with her work. I decided to add blonde to my hair and it has never been healthier. She managed to give me the look without damaging my hair. I always leave with so much volume and extremely happy with my color. I highly recommend this salon.

I came in with really bad color damage I looked like a carrot lol but the staff here went beyond my expectations they do care I absolutely love my new hair color and haircut thank you to the staff I will be coming back and NO MORE HOME EXPERIMENTS lol

Salon David E is a HIDDEN GEM in Baldwin Park. The salon is intimate & lovely. I’ve had my hair done by both David & Lauren– I always leave feeling & looking amazing. They are both very professional & extremely talented. Not to mention– they make you feel like family! I feel like I’ve known them my whole life :) So trust me! Came here with a Groupon for a haircut, shampoo/​condition, blow-​dry service for $ 19. Let me just say I’ve gotten better service & results from places that cut hair for half the price. Without this coupon, this package would cost $ 45 which is so pathetic.
First impression, place is extremely cramped & uncomfortable.
Secondly, I got a young girl who seemed like she didn’t know what the hell she was doing (Iztelh was her name I think). AVOID HER. She did a horrible job. I had to act & leave happy, there was no point in arguing. I asked her several times to keep going over the length of my hair since she had barely cut anything. I needed my split ends cut & she didn’t even manage to take care of something so basic.
Before the haircut when she washed my hair, she literally pulled every strand of my hair to their death. She was very rough & kept breaking my already fragile hair.
As she was cutting my hair, I believe she asked the owner of the salon if she was doing it right.
The high reviews may reflect the other stylist, but if they want to maintain a good reputation, they should fire Iztelh or whatever her name is.
The hair looked okay for an hour at max. I can easily say I have never had such a horrible haircut in my life.

Came here last Thursday for the second time. Great services as always. Friendly and professional, love How my hair came out. Lauren was the one who did my hair each time. Never a disappointment.

I bought the groupon for shampoo, condition, cut and style. Elizabeth did my hair and I couldn’t be happier. Staff is friendly, don’t give attitude if you ask to do something different, recommend cuts, and this is the first time I’ve showed someone a picture and my hair comes out just like it. Will definitely be coming back.

I have always wanted to get extensions done and decided to get consults from different stylists. I realize how costly and maintaining they can be. A great esthetician mentioned I should try David E. as he does some of the best work she has seen. I am glad she did as I couldn’t be any happier with my results. On top of great service, he is able to see me at a later time due to my hectic work schedule. As for prices, after getting numerous consults, pricing couldn’t be any better.
