A New Movement in Dance Education. The Dance Shop II offers beginner to advanced level classes in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, contemporary/​lyrical dance, hip hop, creative movement and kickboxing. Our dedicated, versatile and experienced staff ensures that each dancer receives individual direction and expert training. We also offer dance-​themed birthday parties and private lessons. History

Established in 2010.

The Dance Shop II opened it’s doors in September of 2010. We are a state of the art dance studio with two large classrooms fitted with «sprung» dance floors, floor to ceiling mirriors and over 1800 sq feet of dance space. Our staff is lead by our Artistic Director and co-​owner Kaysree Del Pilar. Kaysree has over 20 years experience teaching dance. She heads an eclectic and experienced team of dance teacher all of whom bring talent, style and knowledge to the table.

Classes are offered in beginner to advanced levels in Classical Ballet, Modern, Hip-​Hop, Jazz, Tap, Ballroom & Creative Dance. We also offer a Zumba and a Kickboxing program also opened to all levels. Private lessons are open to any dancer looking for that one on one training. In addition The Dance Shop II specializes in Dance and Movement Birthday Parties for boys and girls of all ages.

The Dance Shop II space is also available for private events.

Kaysree D.

Business Owner

Miss Kay has an extensive background in dance education for young children. In addition to owning the original «Dance Shop» for 12 years, Kaysree spent seven years educating students in various studios and nursery schools in Westchester, Rockland and Putnam Counties. Kaysree was also a resident artist with the Bronx Council of the Arts bringing the performing arts into the Bronx public schools as part of the physical education curriculum. Kaysree’s early years of dance training were at Ballet Hispanico of New York. Her training then continued at Ballet de Mayaquez, PR, SUNY Purchase and Danceworks of Westchester.
