History

Established in 1974.

Kolstein Music, Inc., the parent corporate company of Samuel Kolstein & Son. Ltd., Violinmakers, was formed in 1974. It was the outcome of a developing product division stemming out of the Samuel Kolstein & Son, Ltd. Violinshop.

Kolstein Music, Inc. maintains all the product development and production of the Kolstein products. It is also concerned with importation of string related accessory products for international distribution.

Kolstein Music, Inc. maintains its facilities in a three building complex at 795 Foxhurst Road, Baldwin, NY 11 510 USA, with a fourth new location to open shortly.

When founded in 1974, the principals of the corporation were Samuel Kolstein and Barrie Kolstein.

Presently, the corporation is under the control of Barrie Kolstein serving as owner and CEO of Kolstein Music, Inc. and Samuel Kolstein & Son, Ltd. with a staff of over 12 experts in violin restoration, marketing and production.
