Mulligan’s Restaurant & Pub

I ate lunch here and it was the best meal I’ve had all week. Everyone was super friendly and the chicken salad was freshly prepared from scratch. I will definitely eat here every time I’m in the area.

Mulligans has a new cook, she is excellent. New items and homemade food! This woman can cook! They also added another 6 taps with Micro and local beers. The place has been painted and has new floors. The locals are extremely nice and colorful! Most draft beer is $ 2 and they sell buckets of bottles. You really need to try this place! I have been in the kitchen and it is not dirty like other people have said. The place is older, but that’s what gives it it’s charm. Is it a high class place? Hell NO, is it a place to grab decent grub and cheap beer while checking out the hot bartenders? Hell YES!

This place is disgusting. We stopped in for a drink, when we walked in we felt like we were being stared at like we did not belong, I thought of the movie Deliverance, and the clientele fit that profile. It happened to be karaōke night and there were people there literally wearing costumes. The floor was breaking up beneath our feet and I almost slipped on a broken tile. After feeling like I was putting out the bartender by even being there, I ordered a glass of wine, I think it was the bottom of an open bottle that had been opened the day they were opened, it was undrinkable. The only positive thing about this place was the deck, if you were just looking for a place to have a cold (bottled– I wouldn’t trust tap) beer, it could be tolerable. I cannot imagine what the food might be like. I think this place has so much potential in the spot that they are in, there are so many apartment residents off of this exit that have to travel to go anywhere decent. It has been through many owners over the years, but needs someone to clean it up.

This bar was exactly what I knew it would be based on location and outside appearance. What are you people (other reviewers) expecting? Do you not go to the watering hole for: Cheap drinks. Bar food. Tacky décor. Sarcastic bartender & Rowdy customers? Do you require prime meat with a 25 dollar ala carte baked potato? Do you need a malbec with hints of chocolate and peppers? Go fuck yourself.. Mulligans hit all my criteria. Shitty bar yes. But that’s what I was looking for. To all you other snob reviewers, fuck off. This town is tiny. Wtf were you looking for?

If you go here, don’t order food! It’s disgusting!
The only good thing is the back deck, it’s nice to sit out there in the summer with a drink and relax next to the fire pit. but we only went there a few times because my BF use to live over there for a short time, and we didn’t know of any other places nearby. we won’t ever go back there.

Ohhh, If only negative stars were available! Please somebody buy this location and change everything! We’ve been looking for a great local place and given this 4 chances and each was worse than the last. Sub par food and service that borders on the way one would avoid a leper. The worst part is the clientele that have made this place their own. Not to be confused… I would love a traditional biker bar! Not sure what part of middle earth these folks come from?

All I can say is horrible. From the service to the food. I ordered the steak sandwich and it came out raw. My wife’s order was incorrect. The soda I got was flat and when I told that to the server (who was also the bartender, dishwasher, hostess, and bus boy) she said she would check the line. I never did get my soda replaced. My wife’s beer came out with a couple bugs floating on top. All our server kept saying was «I’m doing my best». Do not recommend this place to anyone.

Summary– Depressing roadside restaurant is depressing.
I didn’t eat food, but thee food that came out looked «meh».
The water was un filtered Clifton Park Water. You can’t serve that crap.
The place just reeks of despair and crumpled up lotto tickets.

This is a bar with entertainments (pool table, darts, etc.) that has a small dining room tacked on. We had dinner there, and found the food and service both mixed. Some food items were OK, but none were great, and the staff seemed stretched between the bar and dining room.

If dive bars are your thing, Mulligan’s is the place where everybody knows your name.

The place was renamed Mulligan’s Restaurant & Pub. The menu offerings are similar as before with a few changes. Fried wraps and pizza are also on the menu.
