Christian Family Guidance Center provides individual, marital and family counseling and personal life coaching from a Christian perspective.

Marriage counseling is available for couples who want to further strengthen a good marriage or for couples who have a marriage in crisis.

Solution focused consultation is available for stress, anxiety, depression. addictions or parental concerns.

We have a comprehensive premarital program for couples who wish to examine their strengths and growth areas before marriage. This program will explore personal and relational backgrounds, financial readiness, family dynamics, personality profiles, healthy sexuality in marriage, stress factors across the marital lifespan and much more.

Workshops and seminars are available for church and community groups seeking information ona variety of mental health or family issues.

Professional case consultation and clinical supervision is provided to other therapists and counselors in training.

History

Established in 1985.

Christian Family Guidance Center was founded in 1985 by Michael J. Miller, MEd, LPC, LCSW in response to numerous requests and referrals from local pastors. From the very beginning, the primary goal was to establish a professional counseling service that is uncompromisingly Christ-​centered and Biblically based.

Meet the Business Owner

Michael M.

Business Owner

Mike is licensed as a professional counselor and clinical social worker. He has been a practicing mental health professional and trainer in St. Louis since 1979.

He has degrees in psychology and counseling from the University of Missouri and a certificate in Family and Marital Therapy from Washington University. He also received advanced training in addictions treatment from the Edgewood Program of St. Louis and the Hazelden Foundation in Center City, MN.
