Sport Clips Haircuts- Ballwin

Since my previous review I was contacted by a new manager of this location and was offered free haircut coupons. I accepted and returned to give them another chance. This experience was decidedly better than the previous one. The one thing I think could improve would be to keep track of exactly what a stylist does to get my oldest son’s hair just the way he likes it. He resists having his haircut because he has a hard time finding anyone that can accomplish what he wishes. He’s had it cut there and liked it but upon returning, it was unclear what the previous stylist did. This location has significantly improved with the new store manager.

Kim has always been great to deal with; she stays in tune with the client, always working to make sure they’re happy! In a business where people want to just get in, get out, and not spend anytime talking, it’s people like Kim that make me want to come back to SportClips again and again!

When we first moved to this area we found Sports Clips for my husband and son to get hair cut. The place was nice and the staff was friendly. The first few haircuts were great and we were happy we found this place but the last few cuts have been horrible for both! My sons hair was so short in the front it was almost to his scalp and the top was not blended in at all. I was horrified at how bad it looked. We decided we would not let that girl cut either of their hair again so my husband went back a few days ago. He came home and his hair had been done the same way. It was not blended in anywhere and looked like I had cut it! We won’t be going back!

My family loves this place! Best place in town to get a haircut. The products they sell are all guaranteed! If you haven’t tried the mvp– you’re missing out!

So last week my boyfriend went to this location to get his hair cut. He has been going here for more than six months and is there probably every month. It was ten minutes before they closed on a holiday weekend when he walked in. There were two women sitting around not doing anything. One of the women told him that they were closed. Mind you that the door was unlocked and it wasn’t closing time. When he brought these facts to their attention, he was told, «well I’m not cutting your hair». Completely rude and unprofessional especially for a company that relies on its customers to keep it in business plus these women rely on tips as well. Not only did they turn him away, but two more men were turned around in the short time he was there. Suffice it to say that he will not be back nor will I take my two boys there ever again. We will drive the extra distance and take our business elsewhere. Good job ladies, you just lost three regular customers. I guess getting off work at exactly 6 pm was significantly more important to you than providing the service you are paid to provide during your business hours.

I have been going here for a number of years. The fact I keep going back means they are doing something right. The experience can vary depending on the stylist you get. All of them are friendly but some more than others. I only had one bad experience and it involved an incredibly rude employee. The manager called me within a couple days of my complaint and dealt with the situation appropriately (the employee got fired).

The girls are ultra friendly. I got a great haircut. Their service keeps me coming back. Happy to have a place to get my hair cut that is geared to guys.

Great place for a haircut. Tiffany really did a great job. Previous reviewer mentioned high pressure, I didn’t experience that at all. Simply asked and then moved on. They also have some good discounts for repeat business.
