Yup… another kinda sketchy looking place with great gyros and a menu that has greek, mexican, paki/indian, American(burgers and fries, etc.). I think the building was a KFC and the counter layout remains the same, just kinda cluttered… like alot of local joints with«international flavor». Anyway, I’ve only had the gyro platter(actually, twice). I REALLY like the fact that you get french fries with the«assemble yourself» gyro. So many places have gyros but chips… I need fries. Full plastic plate with iceberg salad… gyro meat, quartered pita, tzakaki(?), and servicable fries. Alot of food for the money. Saw some teenagers diggin on some sort of Mexican food. Looked like burritos, but could have been soft tacos or even their special, homemade tamales(pork or chicken)…they looked like they were happy with it. So, here are the things that some might find unacceptable, thus 4 not 5 stars: Booths/tables are dated. Not nasty, just not very«stylish». Two man operation where you order at the counter and they bring it out to you(if you contributed to the tip jar when you paid) or they call your name and you go get it(if you didn’t contribute). As someone else mentioned, they do have various«items» unrelated to food for sale kind of throughout the space. Again, this is NOT fancy… just good food in a quirky place for a good price. I’ll be back.

Soooooo good! A really nice addition to Ballwin. All their food is yummy from the Gyro’s to the Tamales. The drive through wait might take a bit longer than most fast food restaurants but it is well worth it! I hope their business does well. I’ve heard nothing but good things from others as well. Keep up the great job!

Have been driving by this place daily since before it opened. Finally visited for the first time. I’m here again for the third time within a week. The gyro is delicious. I have had it each time. I can’t wait to return and try some of their other dishes.

This is the only place to get a real gyro in the west county/Ballwin area. It does not disappoint! The gyro is as good or better than any of the authentic Greek restaurants closer to down town like Michaels, Olympia, etc. the chips and queso are so delicious, as well. I will definitely be going back.

First time here. Fairly small place with a few tables inside. The man at the register was very friendly and helpful with the menu. Many choices. Ordered gyro platter, gyro salad, chicken fajitas and homemade tamales to go. Big fan of tamales and these were good. Food is cooked when ordered, so it takes a little time but very reasonable, just note this is not a fast food place. Nice to have a place like this — a cross between fast food and sit-down, with a wide selection of something for everybody. Will return.

Quirky place, but not the ‘be all end all’ of Mediterranean cuisine. Can’t speak to the Mexican, Indian or American dishes though. Tried the hummus with pita chips and then the gyros wrap. Hummus a total bust. Someone mentioned its unpleasant citrus note and they were spot on.(And I like my hummus with a squeeze of lemon.) Too sludgy as well and no other flavor to speak of. Pita chips too oily but actually came out warm. Gyro wrap almost won me over with its size and the abundance of meat stuffed in it but was just too bland in the end. I guess the only spice they had in the back that day was salt. Oh well, the search continues…

Don’t take your first date here. I’m totally about dives, holes-in-the-wall, etc. I was just surprised to find 7 – 11 as the décor reference for a restaurant on Manchester Road in West County. Indian dudes(super nice) cooking Middle Eastern, Mexican and American food… ok…I’ll give it a shot. I had the falafel«platter». What made it a «platter» was a tablespoon or two of hummus which tasted like the hummus you get in one of those snack kits you find in the airport kiosk — very riddled with citric acid. There was also«tzatziki sauce» which was just sour cream with some chopped green onion(I think, or maybe it was old cucumber)…very bland. There were 8 falafel balls, which were decent, but dry. The pita was warmed, but tasted like it was good at one time, but has since absorbed the flavors of the refrigerator Eeesh. My husband had a gyro which he loved. He also loves taco bell, so use that as your yardstick of measurement regarding his opinion. We both had water. For $ 16 at 3 in the afternoon for a gyro and falafel sandwich, I felt cheated… not by quantity, but quality. I also went home and promptly drank 32 ounces of water… really, I did — one 8 oz Kirkland bottle at a time, so I could tell you that with accuracy. Not sure what my sodium count for the day was, but I’m glad I don’t know. The two Indian gentlemen working seemed very nice. However, there is no Indian food on the menu(not judging, just wondering)…only Mexican and Mediterranean(which is NOT Indian, for all you culturally confused folks who say you like chimichayngas and shablis wine…) I will usually try a place twice, but not this one. Maybe you’ll find my husband there… I’ll be down the road at Lucky’s having a pint instead.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! I actually meant to post a picture of my food with this review, but I scarfed half of it down by the time I decided to start writing. 1st off– get the gyro in some form. They have a platter, a sandwich, or a salad. It’s all good! Portions are hearty & prices are reasonable, entrees from 7 – 15 $. The menu is so diverse that you’d expect a weak spot, but so far I haven’t found one. The manager Raj is fantastic and very accomidating. They’re also open late, which is a life saver when you work in retail. I highly recommend the gyro, the chicken 64, the monster fries, and the baklava. Also check out the kitschy candles.

Excellent food offered by a hard working team. We had Matt cater our office party and he did a phenomenal job putting together a fantastic feast for our employees. The«Chicken 65» and gyros were especially delicious. The menu is somewhat overwhelming, but everything I have tried here has been exceptional.

I love this place! In an area where fast food options are limited to burger and fries joints or sit down dinners this place is a gift. The gyros are AMAZING. Love love love! Would definitely recommend. Great and courteous service.

This seems like a cute idea from the outside, but unless you are desperate, or just really friendly, the cuteness stops once the food arrives. The service is a little better than the food, first and foremost. The gentleman that served us was friendly and he paid attention to our order because I can’t have dairy. All of the good ends with the seating, which is some retro Dairy Queen décor, but relatively cozy and fun to look at. All of the good pretty much stops there. Start with the poster selection and ask yourself«do I really want to eat at this place?» You don’t, but you’re hungry, so you stay in line. Ask about the ingredients, and the man will happily go to the back to read the cans they come out of! Canned food, for sale at a restaurant, in 2015 — yikes! We ordered all vegetarian foods, which should be easy from a menu that claims not only Mexican and Greek roots, but also has an «American» menu.(If I was eating off the American menu, I would recommend you not ever read nor pay attention to my reviews, because I would be a gross idiot.) however, we got what I call the«steak house vegan» experience. You know, the one where you end up at a steak house with friends or family, and someone mockingly says«you can always just get a salad!» F you, Aunt Bee! Just because I’m vegan doesn’t mean I only eat salads you blubbering moron! I wish you weren’t my mom’s youngest sister! Anyways, the food at this place totally blows! Canned olives and mushrooms harshly sautéed and stuffed into a pita with extra lettuce, aka the Greek Vegetarian Wrap, was super gross. Veggie burrito was an embarrassment to burritos and Mexico altogether. Overall, I am mostly ashamed I ate here, but you shouldn’t have to be! Also, as nice as the man was about keeping dairy out of my meal, my stomach the next morning says there was butter somewhere up in the mix. If I could give zero stars, I’d still give them one because the man seemed so attentive. Beyond that, don’t go here.

Love this place! The food is great and the portions are massive! I have yet to finish the gyro platter. They have Mexican, Greek, and Indian food. It is counter service to keep the cost down I’m sure… Lunch for $ 7. Im in! Go to this place!

What a diamond in the rough! This place looks really unsuspecting, but we couldn’t decide what kind of food we wanted so this totally fit the bill. We went with a little of everything, except American! Chips and cheese(you choose between queso or regular yellow cheese… we got queso). The chips were DELICIOUS! The queso wasn’t very thick but had tons of flavor. Falafel appetizer… SOGOOD! So much flavor. Comes with tomato/cucumber/onion/feta mixed on the side and a small container of tzatziki sauce. Delish. Gyro on a pita– holy cow, this was huge. Tons of lamb strip seasonedd perfectly, pita was soft but held up really well. The trimmings(onion, lettuce, feta) were all just the right amount. My boyfriend said it’s the best gyro he has ever had. Chicken 65 with a side of saffron rice– this is from their international menu. The super nice man that took our order recommended it and it was my favorite. He told us there are over 45 ingredients in it. I didn’t even know that many existed! It is served on a fajita platter piping hot. Grilled peppers(green, red, and jalapeño) and onions garnish the top. Bite size pieces of chicken sizzles for a while but never got overcooked. The saffron rice compliments it very well. Baklava — good, and worth it to go with a Greek meal, but we probably could have skipped it. We already have SO much food left over. Our total for all of that was $ 33. We will be eating for DAYS off the leftovers. 5 stars!

We visited several weeks ago. The gyro pita was huge and delicious. They had a special of a tamale today so I got one on the side, and it was very good. Good flavors and just the right amount of heat. I’d like to try some of their Mexican dishes but it’s hard to pass on that great gyro. But I do have a few suggestions for the owners: — First get a website. I wanted to look at the menu before-hand rather than standing there for 10 minutes trying to decide. — Second, have a napkin dispenser on the counter — we were each only given one tiny flimsy napkin, for a juicy dish, so I had to ask for more. — And finally, focus on being a restaurant. Skip the candles and clocks for sale and install more eating tables.

Very good enchiladas! I really enjoyed the sweet/smoky/spicy sauce they ladled on to them. For some reason, they felt the need to add jalapenos to the masa mixture in their tamales and completely ruined them for me. I am very much looking forward to trying them again. The place appears to be family-run and they are making lots of stuff from scratch. I also observed them crisping some gyro meat on the flat-top after shaving it from the cone. That right there has my name written all over it…

Been waiting for this place to open. I’m always wanted a gyro I could get in a drive thur. So I ordered the gyro and hush puppies. The gyro was delicious. It had a ton of meat on it and fresh vegetables. It’s kind of hard to mess up a hush puppy. Just don’t fry it to long. They were average hush puppies. The menu is all over the map from burgers and fries to Greek to Mexican. So much food to choose from I’ll be back for sure.

I went in mid-December, when it had been open 11 days. It was 2:30 p.m. Slow time. I’ve bee waiting since August for this place to open. Its original name was«St. Louis Pizza and Pita Grill.» There are a lot of offerings, categorized by «Mexican,» «Greek» and a children’s menu(which is called a kid’s menu). I understand the menu has more than 100 offerings. When I went in, the staff was having a «major» festive conversation with three patrons, who I took to be either family or close friends. I went to use the facilities and when I came back, that conversation was still going on. She asked me if I was waiting for an order, like I was bothering her. No, I haven’t even put in an order. And where — by the way — do I order? It’s so unclear where one does order one’s food, but I found it. I ordered a gyro($ 4.99), and clarified its contents, which included feta. I also ordered a steak taco($ 2.99) and a fish taco($ 3.99). I got both of them in flour tortillas. All the food was fantastically fresh, well-seasoned and perfect combinations. My favorite was the gyro, but that’s where I’m inclined. It was full of wonderful tasty, crispy meat, tomatoes, tzatziki, onion and feta. The pita was soft and cushy. The steak taco was a generous amount of well-seasoned meat with the regular accoutrements. Engaging. The fish taco was likewise engaging. Fried fish(don’t know what kind) and plentiful. This was a rather massive lunch for me, so it lasted two more meals. And — amazingly — nothing went south. There’s also a drive-through. It’s in what used to be a KFC on the north side of Manchester Road in Ellisville between BBQASAP and the Ballwin post office.
