If you really need to go to BWI, and you really need to eat while you are there, hey you could do much worse than this place! I recommend the booze and fruit, that’s what I had.

Better alternative than most at BWI…

I had an early flight and needed some grub, so I ordered a Bagel Sandwich. I wasn’t looking for a fresh from NY bagel, but it did the trick. The staff was friendly, which is nice considering how airports are full of lunatics freaking out about traveling.

For starters, this was the only open option in the otherwise deserted Terminal C. The staff was very friendly, and I had a few drinks and a fine-for-an-airport pulled pork sandwich. The menu boasted about the fries, but they were pretty ordinary. It was standard step-above-fast-food airport fare. It loses a star for violating one of my main expectations for a local-dining airport bar: there were no local beers. It would have been nice if they had a Baltimore option, Younglings doesn’t make the cut.

Pretty excited that they had Yingling on tap and ordered some fries. I was there for a lay over for about three hours. The other people at the bar really loved there food. Someone had a po boy and then the other lady had the sliders… overall good airport experience!

Had the crab cake dinner. It came with overcooked potatoes, previously frozen greenbeans, and a small mediocre crab cake. I know not to expect much from airport food, but this was pretty bad and overpriced($ 18).

Ordered the fish n chips and it was great! Nice size piece of fish and little julienned fries. Tartar sauce was great! Coleslaw was blah, kind if mushy. But fast service and good price($ 11.99) works for me for airport food!

I had a Bayside Po’ Boy here for lunch before a flight home. It was actually pretty good. I was served a generous portion of batter fried oysters on a short baguette with lettuce, tomato and mayo. The fries that came with the sandwich were cut thin and very crispy. They have a nice selection of tap beer; I had a Yuengling. Overall, I’d say that this is much better than the national fast food chains that are in the airport. Prices are pretty reasonable, too.

This place is one of the better places at BWI. It’s okay as long as you don’t mind having more deep fried food. I had a dish of fried seafood, and it filled me up for my flight so I was a happy camper. The menu is reasonable, with a good selection and fair prices for an airport. Seating might be tough on busy days though.
