Meet the Business Owner

Denise W.

Business Owner

In 1992 I found this little place that said restaurant for lease, with $ 700 to my name and a lot of courage I made an appointment to take a look at the space. It was February before cell phones and it was raining ice, I took a chance and went anyway. Gene, the very kind landlord, believed in me and gave me my first three months rent free and the rest as they say is history. In 1995 we moved into the current location in an old hardware store and in 2003 added the HON Bar. 24 years later a lot has changed in Hampden. The once sleepy, mostly vacant main street is bustling with activity. Over 50 retail stores and more that 40 places to eat and drink. We hope you come to see us soon, HON.
