Caton’s Pizza & Subs

Ordered delivery. The man who took my order was very nice. The food took forever and I ordered at an off time, it wasn’t the middle of a lunch rush.
Hawaiian pizza — heavy on the cheese. Very light on everything else. Not very good.
Spaghetti w/​meatballs — pretty tasty. Could have used more sauce though. The garlic bread that came with it was good.
Jalapeño poppers — didn’t try because I didn’t order them. I’d asked for jalapeños to be put on my pizza but I guess there was a misunderstanding. They were full of cream cheese.
Mozzarella sticks — I love mozzarella sticks and I always order them but this time I was sorry I did. They had a weird off flavor to them. The marinara that came with them was bitter.
Curried chicken — it was promoted several times on the menu. I figured it would be good. I figured wrong. The curry itself wasn’t as much a curry as a tomato stew with a dash of curry powder. It didn’t taste bad but it wasn’t what I was expecting. The basmati rice that came with it also had an off taste.
Wanted to give a local place a shot instead of one of the corporate places. I won’t be ordering from here again unless I want spaghetti and meatballs.
