Charm City Optical & Eye Care Center

I do love the selection of frames and friendly staff however they accept walk ins and hold no regard for people that actually made appointments.

I purchased a pair of Unique glasses, form charm city. I lost the glasses out of town, and was sick to death about it. I called them to see if they had the particular frame in stock, they did not, however, they search, and not only did they find the frame, but allowed me to lay them away. Talk about fantastic service, there is no other please I would do business with except Charm City, They Rock!!!

There were so many deal breakers for me about my experience at Charm City Optical. I went recently, and it was overflowing with people — the staff was generally nice, but I had to keep asking them, «What’s going on with my appointment? When am I going to be seen?»
After over an hour, I was still in the waiting room and had only done the preliminary eye exam, and I said to them, «I need to leave soon.» They told me that there was at least one person in front me and it would be at least 15 minutes. I’m sorry, about that’s ridiculous — running 1 hr and 15 minutes behind and not bothering to tell the patient is NOT okay! They were clearly running behind schedule when I got there, had they been upfront about it (or even called and told me) it would have been one thing — but they showed absolutely no respect for me as a customer. They weren’t even apologetic. I left, and chose not to reschedule.

Came in with no glasses walked out with glasses. They have a huge designer selection and the staff is great. Witll be returning soon

Greatest ophthalmologist ever!!! Great prices and great selection:)

Lots of designer glasses and lots of knock offs. Very busy! Service for picking out glasses is very good. They spent at least an hour with me looking through all the glasses to make sure I got the exact style which fit my face. They really know what looks good for your face shape!
The optometrist was very nice and quick. My exam was about 15 min. I did walk-​in and I did have to wait about 1.5 hrs on a Monday am. I would recommend getting an appointment. My exam was then 15 min and the technology of the equipment seemed fancy and high quality. Then I had a very nice lady walk around the store with me to help me pick out my frames. Great selection and they can make your glasses on site within 30 – 40 minutes! I’ll definitely be back but I’ll make an appointment next time.
I didn’t give it 5 stars because the location isn’t very central to the city and my wait was too long. But hey, I walked in… and the service was great. LOVE my new glasses.
