Shelly and Brian were not just our wedding photographers, but also were there to capture my proposal, and then our engagement photos. They have produced beautiful photographs every time. They are also extremely fun to work with, and Shelly was constantly making me laugh, which is great because I don’t smile easily!
During our wedding, we had one of those problem wedding guests who decided he would assume the role of wedding photographer. I could definitely see that he was getting in the way of Shelly and Brian being able to do their jobs, but I never once heard them complain to me about him even though I had told them to tell me the second he causes them any trouble. In fact, they were able to adapt and work around him, which I think is truly a mark of professionalism.
We had an activity area set up for the guests where they could take photos with their cell phones. We didn’t have the money to afford a photo booth or a separate photographer for this area; however, during the wedding I noticed Shelly and Brian had set up right by that area to take pictures. This was such a nice gesture, and again a testament to their professionalism.
I would definitely work with Shelly and Brian again, and would love to have them there to capture all the special moments in our lives.

We cannot thank them enough for the high quality pictures they provided for our wedding. Not only are the pictures beautiful but they were professional in everyway. They provided great direction for numerous natural poses. I cried when I looked at the pictures because they reminded me of our wedding day. I am so glad we found them. Thanks to them my husband and I have beautiful life long pictures and a video.

Shelly and Brian did a tremendous job with our engagement photo shoot! My fiancée and I were impressed with the amount of preparation they put into the process, as we discovered that they had actually visited the various sites beforehand to plan their lens-​guided attack! They were easy to work with and clearly have a knack for making their subjects feel comfortable and confident. We also appreciated their commitment to finding out what’s important to us — they took us to the site of my marriage proposal and, in a lighter moment, took photos of us wearing the caps of our favorite baseball team. My fiancée and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results and the degree of professionalism they showed! These guys are the real deal!

My fiancée and I just had our engagement pictures done by Cauchy Productions and it was an exceptional experience. Shelly and Brian were first-​rate during our photoshoot – they were upbeat, professional, and filled with creative ideas. Most importantly, we had a ton of fun!
We met the two of them in Fells Point (Baltimore) and took pictures in several locations along the harbor. We took all our pictures in public and they were great at improvising on the spot. Shelly and Brian would often shoot pictures simultaneously to get different angles of the same background. We even got quite the gathering during some shots! This was our first time having professionals take our pictures out in public and the experience couldn’t have been any smoother!
As part of the photoshoot, my fiancée and I had requested we take a few pictures at a local coffeeshop. When we got there, Shelly went into her bag and pulled out two mugs with our names printed on one side and our wedding date on the other! The mugs went great with our pictures. They think of the smallest details and really go out of their way to make sure their clients have the best experience possible.
We finished our session at 8pm and they had our pictures uploaded and ready for viewing by 9am the next morning! Overall, we couldn’t be happier with our pictures. The quality is second to none and we’ll treasure the images for a lifetime. Shelly and Brian even made a short movie of the photoshoot set to music we selected. It’s a short clip that’s a lot of fun to watch.

Shelly and Brian of Cauchy Productions are not just top-​notch photographers, they’re top-​notch engagement photographers! It takes a unique combination of personality and skill to do this work, and they’ve got both in spades.
Think about it: They have to take complete amateurs and run a photo-​shoot in a (usually) very public place, battling weather, stray animals, and passers by. They managed to do all this while getting great shots!
Our session was very efficient and painless. We had our photos the very next day, and they came out amazing. There was an excellent mix of cute/​artsy/​romantic pics.
… Best of all, they managed to make us look like we actually liked each other ;)
