This place is a gem. My sister, daughter in law and myself made appointments for hair, makeup and nails prior to a wedding. Staff are super friendly. I appreciated the text appointment reminders. Service was above and beyond. I had an up do, which stayed in place throughout the day and didn’t pull or pinch. Great job Sarah. Make up also by Sarah was just as I wanted, not too heavy… just right. Super happy customer.

Danielle did a fantastic job with our nails, and Suzette understood exactly how I wanted my hair. A+plus plus experience — highly recommend!

I like this place, everyone is so friendly and helpful. So if you want to have your hair on point than this is the right place for you.

Went in and had a gel manicure today. Maria did my nails and she was great. She helped me pick colors I liked and did a really good job. Definitely will be coming back for another manicure.
The only thing that could make it 5 stars is if there was a separate room for the hair salon for getting your nails done.

I’m sure I am the only negative review here but this is my experience regardless. A friend recommended Suzette (the owner) as he was a long time customer of hers. My long time stylist moved out of state so I was looking for a new one. It was right before the holidays when I was leaving town so I booked online and received an email confirmation for the day before I left town. The day before my appt I receive a call telling me they double booked and could not get me in with Suzzette and now it was too late to go to an alternate stylist at my old place! Normally something like this wouldn’t bother me but I ended up not getting a haircut for my trip. This was my first and last impression of this place. No thank you I will find a place that will honor their appointments especially with new prospective clients.

My new go to place! I moved to Baltimore back in August and have been going to Joey ever since. Great service when you come in, and they really try to make sure you’re comfortable, receptionist always offers water or coffee. Joey does amazing color work. Really listens and makes sure he knows what you want. The actual color they use is great. I’m a blonde, and it’s hard to avoid the brassiness, but the color they use really holds. Definitely recommend!!!

Highly recommend! In town for a wedding and went in for a blow out. Sara (h?) did an amazing job! Almost fell asleep in the shampoo chair :), she listened and understood the look I wanted and nailed it! She even made some helpful recommends for my time in town. Local or visiting, definitely give this salon a try!

I was in Baltimore for a wedding recently and decided to get my hair done with a friend in the morning. This place was right down the street with good reviews, reasonable prices and availability on a Saturday morning. Since I needed a trim I decided to get it cut and blown out. The hairdresser listened to exactly how I wanted it cut and gave me an honest opinion when I asked. I was very pleased!
My friend got a blow out with curls. She was there for over an hour having curls put in her hair. When I saw her at the ceremony an hour later, her hair had almost fallen completely. It could have just been her hair, but you should definitely put in enough hair spray to make it hold for little longer! It was a bit of a bummer, but I’m not sure if I can knock the salon for it.

Had a great pedicure with Maria. She was friendly, gave a great massage and did a fabulous job! Highly recommend.

Rude. Unprofessional. Insulting. Poor customer service. That sums up how I was treated at this salon. I’ve been there twice before and really had no issues, except I thought the owner was rude… as a matter of fact, I sung Kristie’s praises and gave out her card to several people because she colored my hair perfectly. Time for a touch up and I made an appointment for a Saturday, for an important event I had that evening. My appointment was at 1:45-I asked for an earlier spot and was told no. At 11:45 I get a call from the salon asking if I could come at 1 because «your hair takes a long time and we close at 4.» I have thick hair and was actually in the middle of blowing it straight so that the process would be quicker-​I was not dressed and would have had to leave in 15 minutes. I said I could not make it at 1, but I could make the time I had scheduled. I was told come at 1 or reschedule. I was disgusted-​my appointment was on the books over a week and they felt it was appropriate to call me right before my my appointment with this-​and on the day of my event? I said I would try to be there by one, in which I was basically told that if I get there past 1 I would not be seen «because we close at 4 and your hair takes a long time.» Actually repeated that ish. My husband and girlfriend were there listening and asked if I was really going to give someone my money that treated me like that and was so dismissive and unprofessional? With no regard to my feelings or schedule? I called back and canceled the appointment and told the receptionist why and he said «OK» and hung up. Luckily I put a blast onFB and got a great referral to a stylist who did a great job and didn’t act like my hair was a problem. The friends I had referred to this salon saw my post and said they were glad I posted, they were going to call for appointments but now won’t, and others who saw my post were flabbergasted by the treatment-​as if this salon was doing me a favor by doing my hair! And I plan on sharing my story on as many social networks as possible. If I could give them a negative star i would!

Had a great blow dry here!!! Cute place in a great area where all the action is. I would recommend this salon.

Started going here when I Moved to Baltimore two years ago. Suzette is the best! She always takes time to listen to what I want. One of the few salons I have ever been to that knows what just trim the ends mean, most places think this gives them liberty to chop away.

Maria does a great pedicure! She is very thorough and gives a wonderful massage.

With so many options in the area, it is hard to make the «right choice». I have to say– I came here based on the positive Unilocal reviews and I couldn’t have been happier with the staff and service at Edge Evolution.
I walked in without an appointment on a rainy day and was seen immediately. I was looking for something new, and had decided upon an asymmetrical graduated bob (which would mean cutting off more than 10 inches of hair). My stylist, Sara, was patient, amiable, and professional– and we had great conversation throughout my wash (the head massage is great!), cut, and dry. Sara even gave me a few styling tips for my bob, which were easy to remember and use outside of the salon.
The atmosphere is chic, clean, and welcoming. The services are prices very reasonably, as well. I would definitely recommend!

Neglected my nails too long and since I’m on a bit of a holiday, decided to splurge and take care of bizniz. I had great luck in Little Italy for dinner so I figured I’d look in this neighborhood for a nail salon. Happily, my luck held. It was a short jaunt here from my hotel so I showed up 15 minutes before my appointment. Who knew I could walk three blocks so quickly. No matter.
Everyone was kind and accommodating. I was offered liquid refreshments and Chin said to come on back, pick out some colors. He said sit in the pedicare chair and turn on the massage feature while I waited. Why thank you-don’t mind if I do. Those 15 minutes were happily spent.
Tons of colors to choose and Chin helped me choose a robins egg blue. He kept me strong in my decision to step outside my usual comfort zone of dark colors and try something different. Long story short. I love it. Added a reverse ombré effect on thumbs and ring finger which I can’t help but admire constantly. Definitely a fan and wish I didn’t live several states away so I could be a regular.

I loved the service here! The staff was incredibly friendly the other customers were also easy to talk to. The glass of wine was a nice addition to complement some pampering. Chin offered to repair any chips no matter how long out from the manicure you were, this is very unusual but greatly appreciated. I would definitely come back here for a quality manicure that I don’t have to worry about!

I came out of Edge Evolution with perfect nails. It was my first time having gel nails done, and An took her time to help me choose a perfect color. Not only did An do an amazing job with my gel nails, but she also suggested doing an ombré design with sparkles! I am absolutely inlove with it and will definitely be back. Not to mention, she also gives a great hand massage! The salon is quaint and clean, with easy parking. Ladies, I highly recommend this nail salon if you want a great job done.

Best mani pedi I’ve had for a long long time! An is great! She took her time, I didn’t feel rushed. We picked out colors because I’m horrible at picking them myself. Very clean, great color selection, nice prices. Already have my return appt booked. Unilocalers, if you need quality nail services please go here and tell An or Chin I sent you!

Came into salon nervously having had the same stylist for 14 years… Needless to say from start to finish it was a great experience. The Salon just moved to new location in Little Italy –easy to find. Greeted and coaxed into the reassurance I needed to pull the trigger on cut and color! Salon reservationist (adorable) offered beverages-​I had red wine! It was fate Sara was available and then the process began of turning my way overdue summer tresses into the fall colored richness it needed! Cut about 4 inches off, all over color and added some violet-​y colored pieces.
Sara was extremely professional and listened to me asking the proper questions to fully understand what it was I actually wanted. Even cut some bang pieces to give me a slightly different look. Overall great experience– I love my hair! Highly recommend Sara and hope this helps others find their way into this salon.

If you are coming here for a manicure or pedicure, and want a relaxing, quality experience, you are at the right place!
The quality of the job is always top-​notch, Nails are filed and prepped properly.
The techs (An and Chin) take their time and chat with you, offer a drink, etc. The atmosphere is modern, very clean, fun to be in, and overall very pleasant/​relaxing.
Other nice things:
The massage chairs are extremely comfortable and appear new. The polish selection is fantastic and well-​organized. Also, if your gel gets messed up within the first two weeks, they are nice enough to touch them up for you.
I have been to a LOT of nail salons in the area, and I highly recomend this place! I will not be going to a bunch of different salons searching for a good one any longer.
