Excellent service! Josef honored the Angie’s list price even though our house was larger than he expected. The ducts in our new house were in horrible shape, Josef and his employee were there for several hours cleaning every duct. They were very careful removing vents and returned everyone to its rightful place without damaging the walls. The ducts and the air are clean, and I highly recommend this business.

If I could give Joseph from Fair Duct Cleaning 10 stars, I would.
Recently, my dryer began to shut off after only a few minutes with an error code indicating a clogged laundry vent. After some investigating on my part, I realized a bird had nested in the vent. I wasn’t sure exactly whom to call, so I started with my pest company. They came out and removed the nest and put a guard on the vent.
The next day, I put a load of laundry in the dryer and, lo and behold, the dryer shut off again with the same error code. At this point, I decided to check Unilocal for a duct cleaning company with good reviews. That’s how I found Joseph from Fair Duct Cleaning.
I called Joseph, explained the problem, and he offered to come out the same day. He showed up when he said he would and he was well prepared. He inspected the vent and informed us that there was still a significant blockage.
To say that there was a lot of stuff in the vent would be an understatement. There was a TON of stuff stuck in there. It certainly wasn’t easy for Joseph to get it cleaned out, but he didn’t give up. There turned out to be at least 2 birds’ nests in there and more lint than he’s probably ever seen. We are very lucky that our dryer knows when to shut itself off to prevent a fire. With the amount of stuff in that vent, it could have ended quite badly.
Joseph’s professionalism, competence, and determination have won him a customer for life. I seriously can’t recommend him enough. His price was fair and his work was superb.

Joseph and his crew arrived on time and very professional. He went to home depot to buy the right size filter for the system. Recommended UV light air purifier since my kids have allergies. The cost of stand alone UV light purifier is the same as what Joseph offers for the whole house of a single family home size in Ellicott City. Joseph was very informative and I feel like I know my HVAC system better.

I own a house in Baltimore city that I rent. My tenants complained that the dryer doesn’t dry their clothes for a week and I figured the the vent has to be clogged.
I found my self looking for a local dryer vent cleaning company cause I needed to get it fixed as fast as possible, but I would have never believe that 30 minutes after one phone call to Fair Duct will solve the problem.
Let me tell you something Joseph is not only super responsive he’s extremely through and professional. He cleaned all of the mess and the price was completely fair.

Our dryer has not been working properly (taking 2 runs in order to dry a small load of clothes). My husband tried to clean the dryer vent himself and lost the brush in the vent. We called Yossef and he was over within a day or two. It was a difficult process removing the brush from the vent, but he tried everything until he was able to get it out.
He then cleaned our dryer vent and checked and removed all of the lint, dust, and debris that was keeping it from working. He was professional throughout the entire, frustrating process!
We will be using Fair Duct Cleaning again in the future to clean our air vents in the entire house. The prices are fair, Yossef is professional, and the results are more than satisfactory.

Let me tell you, if you are looking for professional, on budget, knowledgable and timely, Yossef and his crew is exactly what you’re looking for.
I bought my house about 3 yrs ago and never had considered cleaning the air vents. My family started having health issues and the Dr recommended I look into having them cleaned due to Fall allergies being an issue. I work in IT and we spend a lot of my time in doors.
Yossef took the time to explain to me everything I needed to know and then some about his process, the chemicals they were going to use (I have pets), and even showed me before and after pictures. Sure enough they found some sort of «growth» in the unit and made sure that was completely taken care of before they were done. I just sat back and watched them work in amazement.
Please, trust me! Give them a call. They are worth every penny and I guarantee you they will beat any competitor’s price without changing the quality or experience you’ll receive. I can’t believe I’ve been living like this for so long. Thank you!

I knew that my dryer having some issues with drying my laundry, and I’ve noticed that the vent gets really hot to the point it’s to hot to touch it, that’s a fire hazard.
Thanks to Joseph that saved me a lot of time by explaining me over the phone that my dryer vent is probably clogged, I’ve realized that I need my dryer vent to be unclogged and to keep it clean by having it vacuumed every year (which I haven’t done).
He schedule me with an appointment for 2 days later, really quick.
The technician came down to my dryer, checked that it is working fine, checked the air floe strength, then he checked the outside exhaust vent and noticed that there is no air-flow coming out.
After a short check he realized that there is a bird nest deep inside the dryer vent
He explained me the situation and how we can solve it, and how I can make sure it will not happen anymore in the future.
He solved my issue really fast and with no hassle, left every thing completely clean behind him, and of course showed me the before and after.

I called the cleaning service as I had a connect from living social and they came as promised and the owner began to communicate why my ducts were so dirty. I’m a deer versus a talker so he started the work and I was almost embarrassed by the lent that were in the pipes. He was accommodating to my schedule as I work 9 – 5 and he was able to meet me at my house beyond his regular hours. I never knew how much I could learn about my home and the heater and even the dryer vent circulation until he came over. He is the reason I will live a healthier life with my allergies!

Kudos for courteous, professional work in every aspect of our interactions!
Scheduling was not only painless, but considerate. Due to pick up/drop off obligations, I had some time constraints during the window the tech was scheduled to arrive and work. Rather than scheduling for a later date, they said they would simply wait if I was not home when they arrived. They also gave me a discount because my dryer vent was so short, sight unseen!
The tech arrived at the start of the window. He was clean and careful with my house while here. He gave me suggestions for dryer vent cleaning interval — not every year — and kept me apprised of both condition and progress. On hearing of some maintenance issues with the house, he did a quick air duct inspection for free with pics. While he did suggest a further cleaning, it was not the most expensive type and the pricing was quite reasonable. He went ahead and did the second cleaning while here rather than rescheduling for later. We were very pleased and recommend highly.
