Description

Specialties

Fish Head Cantina is a huge neighborhood bar, restaurant and sushi bar with an outdoor concert pavilion, garden deck, fish ponds and a grass playing field (for cornhole, of course). We have the Best Happy Hour prices M-F from 3pm-7pm and $ 1.50 domestic bottle/cans/drafts beers on Fridays from 6pm-8pm! We play host to the best Regional and National Classic Rock, Modern Rock, Original Rock and Metal Bands Tuesday-Sunday nites. We offer catering services and facilities to parties large (500) and small (25). Our bartenders become everyone’s best friend because they love people and they love to PARTY. Always free plentiful parking, never a cover charge to enter the bar/restaurant and never a dull moment here.

History

Established in 1934.

Our bar has had 3 incarnations — Elgerts Sportsman’s Lodge:1934−1980 (‘Olé Man Elgert was a moonshiner and ran this place as a stag bar until the mid 70’s); The Fishbowl Inn:1980−2002 (Fishbowl was a biker bar); Fish Head Cantina: 2002-present (Sports Bar, Live Music, On/Off Site Catering & the best damn pub grub and sushi this side of the Patapsco River!). Fish Head Cantina is named after it’s owner, Scott Fisher, who was called «Fish Head» for most his formative years and was fashioned after a popular watering hole in Los Angeles that Scott used to hang out in with his music buddies called The Sagebrush Cantina. The Ravens and the Orioles rule the roost here so if you want to see the area’s best (and loudest) sports fans stop by on game day!

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

This place is my «mid-life crisis». At age 40, I quit my job in LA and moved my family back to my beloved «Murhlin»! I wanted to create a place that catered to all my passions: great food, lots of TV’s to watch every sport known to mankind, an awesome live music venue, a huge outdoor area for my patrons to enjoy and at a familiar location (I was born ½ mile away at St. Agnes Hospital). This place is my home and my employees and customers are my family and we treat everyone as such!
