This is beside the BG&E building, so I dipped in for a very fast lunch before a client meeting there. They have just about everything. It’s all so-so in terms of freshness and quality, but tastes good.

What you pay for here is what you get… Kings Garden Café is right around the corner from my office and when I’m strapped for time at work, Kings Garden Café is my best option. This buffet has a crazy amount of options that it’s a little skeptical. They have a salad bar, sushi, asian food, southern comfort food, mexican food, a fro-yo machine, custom sandwiches, and even medicine. Such a wide array! With all these dishes, it’s hard to maintain quality, which I kind of expect from a cheap buffet. While I don’t come here for scintillating flavors, I like that I can get a nice healthy salad and a couple piece of sushi(or some ribs…).

The variety here is astonishing. I’d recommend getting here early to get the freshest food and avoid the lines. Nice hidden gem. They also make sandwiches to order.

Was on the hunt for decent Chinese for lunch and came to Unilocal. You didn’t steer me wrong. They had Chinese and Sushi and lots of other options. Quick place and near my office. I will go back.

I love Kings Garden for Lunch time… but the food is addicting and I tend to want to eat there everyday. I am limiting myself, but the buffets are amazing. Get there before 2pm because items sell out quick.

I eat here at least once a week because it’s close to work and has a ton of options. There are two long buffet stations with hot and cold options(salads, meats, pastas, veggies, side dishes, etc). All of the choices are surprisingly good, although a lot of the Chinese food tends to be spicier than expected so watch out. However, just like any pay-and-weigh place, you need to be cautious. I think it’s roughly $ 7/lb of food, and you can rack up a big price tag pretty quickly if you absentmindedly fill up your plate with anything that catches your eye. Some of the more popular buffet items tend to sell out pretty quickly, so don’t head here for a late lunch unless you’re going straight to the made-to-order sandwich deli/grill. On the few occasions I’ve had a sandwich here, they’ve been great(the grilled cheese is amazing melty goodness!!!).

Needing a quick lunch in between meetings and having no knowledge of this area of Baltimore, we saw this place across the courtyard and decided to give it a try. The buffet looks good and smells great, but is completely overpriced. Your best bet is to head to the back and go for the sandwiches. I had a simple BLT– they actually did a pretty good job, and the bacon was crunchy– a must for any good BLT. But my co-worker wasn’t a fan of his gyro(he actually said it was pretty lousy). The staff was pretty friendly– not a bad option when you don’t have much time and it pouring outside.
