They came out today for an issue I was having in my basement. They were so quick and knowledgeable. They charge a flat service fee for most small repairs, but it seemed reasonable to me! I called at 8am and they were able to send some one out at 11am that same day. Happy I found them!

As an avid Unilocaler, I was happy to find K&K Electric pop up with a few positive reviews in my initial «Electrician» search. My usual ‘go-​to’ electrician pal was out of town and I figured for the work I needed done (which I’ll mention later), a solid Unilocal prospect could handle the task. Had the day off, so I gave K&K a ring. The owner, Andy was very helpful and eager to fit me into the work schedule at the last minute. I explained my situation: I personally recently replaced around 25 single-​pole, 3-​way, and 4-​way light switches in my row home from the older toggle switches to the flat panel type. I had success with every switch but a pesky 3-​way switch that I couldn’t figure out the issue. Luckily for me, Kite and Key was able to fit me into their schedule no problem that day– at 10:30am I was quoted between 1−3pm; 15 minutes later I get another call saying a technician was on it’s way.
My tech for the day was AWESOME. He was a Vietnam Vet with 30 years of electrician experience and it showed. I had saved him some time and labor by taking off the panels that I thought may be faulty and went around the house with him, holding a flashlight to provide better illumination. A wanna-​be handyman myself, I was curious to learn about his tricks of the trade and the technician humored me with some electricity 101 lessons. The culprit was found about 15 minutes into his visit– I had simply mis-​wired a point and traveler wire on the 3-​way switch which shorted out my hall lights. 30-​sec fix by the tech and that’s all she wrote. 17-​min job. Experienced. Professional. Efficient. And the best part was that he taught me something.
K&K Electric was a positive experience overall — quick to respond, experienced technicians, and they are willing to go the extra mile for their customers. Recommended.

Super nice guys! I called yesterday to have the wiring fixed on my garage door. They were able to come out the next day– and even called 30 min before apt to say they would be a little late, which no one does anymore. The technician was helpful and got the job done quickly. They had said before coming out it could be one of two rates, so naturally I expected it’d be the higher one. To my surprise, they gave me the lower one! Which was great because I was super broke and was only getting the door fixed for coming winter. They were so helpful, that when the door stopped working 15 minutes after the tech left (the handle got yanked and it accidentally went into manual mode), I called the company and they quickly sent the tech back who was super nice about it and quickly helped me. The wiring is now as good as new and they didnt try to rip me off like everyone else, by saying id need this or that, when i really didnt. If you want an honest company that’s quick, efficient and won’t overcharge– I’d highly recommend this company!

In one word… AWESOME. These guys are extremely knowledgeable and very thorough in their work. I had installation of 6 ceiling fans and 24 recessed lights done across 6 rooms, including a slanted vaulted family room. From the initial consultation with Andy, down to the work done with his guys Joe and Ken, Kite and Key was extremely professional and up to expectation. No matter what the obstacles were in getting the fit or work done up to code, Joe and Ken were more than able to meet the challenge and exceed all measures. I had other bids come in for the project where contractors said there would be a lot of difficulty in getting the lighting and ceiling fan work done in the vaulted family room, but upon initial consultation, Andy was able to figure out a perfect solution that created very minimal carve out of current drywall to setup everything. Kite and Key’s referral for drywall work after was also perfect! You could never tell anyone came to install everything. I would highly recommend contacting these guys first before anyone else. They pride themselves on getting the job done right and will truly meet that expectation. Again… AWESOME!

When I first moved into Canton I had cable set up in my bedroom and could not figure out why it didn’t work. It ended up being a pretty complicated Diagnosis but Andy the owner quickly diagnosed the issue and was able to set up my cable at a reasonable price. Really friendly and professional guy I would definitely recommend.

My husband and I used Kite and Key Electric for several jobs around our home. When I first called Andy promptly called me back and listened to what we needed. He explained pricing and we set up an appointment.
He called 30 minutes before his arrival and he was professional and courteous and we were very pleased with his work. Let me say our initial appointment was for him to fix a few outlets that were not working. He did that along with putting in recessed lighting on a dimmer switch, fixing some electrical problems we did not realize we had and upgraded a few plugs that were not grounded. He made suggestions and provided us with options. His suggestions were not based on him trying to make more money but rather what would be best for us as his customers. His main concern was ensuring safety.
We will be using him again as we are already make a list of things we want done.

I cannot possibly recommend Andy any less. When we met at my house he assured me that the job was simple and that he could do the job quicker and less expensively than other companies who had already quoted the job. He promised me an estimate within a day or two. After not hearing from him for a couple weeks I checked back with him. He apologized profusely and told me he’d have an estimate in my hands that night. After 2 more weeks I called him again and he told me he didn’t want the job because it wasn’t the type of work he does. Why couldn’t he just tell me that when he first met me? Stay away from this guy– he’s a first class bull artist.
