History
Established in 1943.
Matthew’s Pizza was established in 1943 by Matthew Cacciolo. He came to America from Italy with his family’s recipes for making pizza dough and pizza sauce. In 1943, he (and his sister Rose) served only 3 types of pizza pies. Because Matthew’s makes its pizza dough and sauce on the premises, every day, using only the highest quality ingredients, its reputation for outstanding pizza started to grow. Matthew’s Pizza has earned 43 «Best Pizza» awards. In November 2010, USA Today named Matthew’s Pizza as one of the best pizza parlors in the USA and it is ZAGAT rated. Our philosophy at Matthew’s Pizza is simple: «the customer must always be satisfied». To achieve this goal we strive to make the best pizza you can get anywhere, served by friendly staff, in an enjoyable atmosphere.
