Mr Sausage

Mr. Sausage is a very popular stall in Northeast Market. They have turkey dogs, regular dogs, Italian sausage and polish sausage. Today I got a regular dog and the polish sausage.
There’s a large variety of toppings. Raw onions, sauerkraut, cheese, three kinds of chili, grilled onions and peppers, slaw, relish, ketchup, mustard (no spicy though!), and hot peppers. You can add as many toppings as can fit reasonably — as far as I can tell they don’t charge more than $ 0.50 for any topping.
There is a salad bar attached that seems pretty decent — at $ 4.99 a pound It’s a good deal in the market. They have the typical salad bar fare but they also have salsas and olives (yay). They didn’t judge me for grabbing just a handful of olives in the big salad container.
Drink choices include sodas and juices in their case. I typically just go grab a smoothie from Smoothie Place in the front of the market — EverFresh isn’t my thing.
The staff are personable and polite.
Prices are very decent but I also am pretty sure no place in N. E market is expensive at all — gotta stay competitive!
Oh. It’s N. E market so like always watch your purse and stay aware. I have yet to be bothered here but can’t hurt to mention it. Sketchy Baltimore is sketchy.
