North Charles Fine Wine & Spirits

Amazing selection of whiskey and a very friendly staff. Walking into liquor stores these days and asking for whiskey often results in eye rolls and attitude. Never in my life have I felt so unwelcome for trying to spend hundreds of dollars.
The first time I went into North Charles with a few friends I was immediately offered a dram of great whiskey, and then another. The staff’s knowledge was great and they seemed legitimately interested in chatting with us. When we asked about limited releases they were honest about how much they got and that they offered them at free tastings rather than giving them out to a handful of people. I think that’s a great way to spread the wealth. I wound up walking out with a few bottles (which were very, very fairly priced), and so did my friends.
